.LIVE (どっとライブ dotto raibu, pronounced as dot live) is a Virtual YouTuber agency produced by App Land, Inc.
As of April 2022, the group has in total over 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube. Dennou Shojo Siro has the highest subscriber count out of the agency with over 670,000 subscribers.
History[]
Background[]
Dennou Shojo Siro debuted on 28 June, 2017, becoming the first member of .Live. Baacharu debuted three weeks after her on 20 July. Merry Milk later debuted on 23 March, 2018.
Idol Club[]
The Idol Club (アイドル部 aidoru-bu) was one of the extracurricular activities of a private virtual academy existing in the Cyber World (電脳世界 dennou sekai). Members of the club were students from the high school and middle school section and were then-active as Virtual YouTubers.
All of the members excel in a particular field like being good at video games, possessing programming skills, being knowledgeable about insects, etc. They debuted with 12 members in mid-2018, with Baacharu as the producer. Yozakura Tama and Nekonoki Mochi later retired in late 2019.
2021[]
On 3 January, new members debuted: Rikumu, Rurun Rururica and Nanahoshi Milily. Like Siro, Baacharu and Milk, they were not part of the Idol Club.
On 19 April, App Land announced that the Idol Club will be disbanded, with Chieri, Suzu, Pino, Mememe and Iori remaining in .LIVE and Riko, Azuki, Futaba, Natori and Iroha retiring. Riko and Azuki silently retired as they had already been inactive for a year, while Natori held her graduation stream on 27 April, Futaba held her graduation stream on 28 April and Iroha held her graduation stream on 29 April. Tr!c Trac[]
2020[]
In a Christmas broadcast on December 24, 2020[1], it was announced that an independent unit call Tr!c Trac (とりとら toritora) will be formed with members including Mokota Mememe, Kakyoin Chieri, Yamato Iori, Kagura Suzu and Carro Pino. Since they are an independent unit, they also conducted lessons, proposals, etc. (excluding office formalities) on their own. Their goal is to become an Idol unit that "Grow with the fans".
2021[]
On 26th June, Mememe had to withdrew from the group due to health concern. She performed[2] with the group for the last time on the same day and return to her regular activities in .LIVE as Tr!c Trac continue as a 4 unit group.
App Land joins MBS group and announced new Vtuber Group[]
On 14 April 2023, App Land, Inc announced that they will be joing MBS group and aim to strengthen and expand the VTuber business.[3] Shortly after a month, on 31 May 2023, App Land announced that they will be debuting a 6 members Vtuber group and tease fan with their silhouettes and a 🍅emoji by the side[4]. After a huge amount of teasing[5], on 15 June 2023, they finally revealed the visual for VPI Cafe. A 6 members Vtuber group that are vampires working in the cafe. [6]
