22/7 (ナナブンノニジュウニ Nanabun no Nijuuni) is a mixed-media 2D/3D idol group project, created by a partnership between Japanese record producer Yasushi Akimoto and Sony Music Entertainment (via its Japanese anime and music production company Aniplex, and its record label Sony Music Records).
22/7 is intended to be as a project where real idol girls also bring life to virtual anime-style idols as their counterparts.
As of 2018, eight of the 11 members have become Virtual YouTubers, starting with Fujima Sakura.
As of 2022, only Takigawa Miu has been active on YouTube although very rarely.
As of 2024, It appears there are 10 active members of 22/7. they mainly appear as their real-life selves, instead of their Virtual Characters. However they will occasionally post on Showroom, 22/7's YouTube, and their personal or character X accounts (formerly Twitter). All of the original members YouTube accounts are still not active despite some still being active members.
