Afress Highwind is an independent VTuber who primarily streams on Twitch, while also occasionally posting on Tiktok, Oshi4Ever and YouTube.

Afress Highwind is a Wind Deity VTuber that was made by a mysterious omnipotent being called the "Birthmother" to be a safe-keep the currents of the wind and bring the breath of life to mortals. In his long life of immortality, he has picked up many hobbies, with streaming being the most recent and most engaging. He lives in a hidden village among the clouds named Cloudveil with his pet "Flooful", Chino.

As a Variety streamer, he plays a large collection of games.

He has short blonde hair 'swooped' to one side with pink highlights underneath, blue eyes and pointed/elf ears with facial markings under and between his eyes; his eye brows have some 'cuts'/gaps in between them. He dons green and brown clothes, typically seen with a large wooden cask with a large red and white cloth wrapped around it.

Afress has done some events in the past and has been on record to say he will be doing more.

  • On 31 May 2022, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Afress hosted a 5 hour-long interview-style Mental Health Awareness stream where he brought on other streamers to interview them about their past troubles with trauma and mental illnesses and the ways it shaped their lives in the current day, while also asking positive questions on their future. The stream was met with positive reception.
  • On 30 October 2022, Afress had done his first 24-hour stream commemorating the Halloween season with a horror-themed immersive reading of horror stories, watching short horror films, completing horror games that were to be finished by the end of the month, and ending the stream with a full playthrough of Team Salvato's 2018 Visual Novel Horror, Doki Doki Literature Club! with Ava 'Avarik' (Previous romantic partner) as a Co-Host. The Stream was met with good reception.
  • During December 2022, Afress had done a twenty day charity event benefitting animals in need. His community raised roughly $350 USD to Ruff Tales Rescue, a No-Kill shelter for dogs in the New England area of the United States.
  • Afress returned for the second Mental Health Awareness Month by doing a month long charity event during the month of May 2023 for NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. His community raised roughly $350 USD in which all the proceeds went to NAMI.
  • In July of 2024, Afress held a "Fun in the Sun" charity event geared toward bettering the lives of children in countries of War. The proceeds of $1500 USD went to the Children of War Foundation. The event had Afress streaming the entire month of July with giveaways and other festivities. This event was met with majorly positive reception.

Streaming Content[]

Afress Highwind's content is a mixture of wholesome and adult humor dashed with life and mental health advice. Being an advocate for better mental health, he regularly shares things he's learned in his immortal life and gives different perspectives and coping mechanisms to potentially help people where he can. Afress does advise his viewers to seek professional help, as he's not a licensed psychologist.

Afress plays and does a variety of things, including mainstay games like Clone Hero, SEGA's 2001 platformer Sonic Adventure 2, and CAPCOM's 2005 3rd-Person Survival Horror game, Resident Evil 4. His content doesn't strictly revolve around games, as he's done a Karaoke stream, Art streams, Lego building streams, and one-offs like a You Laugh, You Lose-style stream. He's mentions wanting to strive to make more robust content.

As of the writing of this update, Afress has other streams planned in the future. (i.e. Origami Streams, Speedrun Learning streams, Language learning streams and more.)

Non-Streaming Content[]

Afress's other social medias like YouTube and Tiktok are a typical "Vtuber Clips" style of content with the occasional skit, thought-provoking question, or update for stream advertising. In 2023, Afress joined an Audio content website Oshi4Ever. He occasionally posts affirmations, life lessons, words of positivity, and about games he enjoys in a segment named "Some of My Favorite Games".
