[ahi:] is a musical duo consisting of Sakai Kotori and Sonozaki Nakura, both formerly affiliated with the independent music circle TOMATO GUMMY. They dub themselves a "virtual track-making unit" who specialize in music composition, arrangement and mixing.
Their original music comprises instrumental pieces as well as songs with guest vocalists like Ririsya and BOOGEY VOXX. In their works, Kotori usually handles the piano and arrangement while Nakura handles the drum, mixing and video producing.

History[]
Background[]
Both Kotori and Nakura have been active as VTubers since the beginning of 2019. They are close friends who often did collaborations together throughout the year. On 25 April 2020, after announcing the release of their album in Kotori's stream, they formally named their duo "[ahí:]" with help from Kotori's viewers.[1] The group only opened their own YouTube channel and Twitter account in August of the same year.
2020[]
On 1 June, they relesed their first album, kumoru.
On 11 September, they released their first EP, mandala.
2021[]
On 25 April, they released their second album, [FLaSh!!].
