Akatsuki Hotaru (暁月ホタル) is a Japanese-speaking VTuber who debuted in November 2024 as part of VShojo JP NOVA, alongside Yutori Peke, Hestia Happiness, and Okamoto Nagi.

A demon (Leviathan) who was so captivated by the freedom and adventure of the ocean depicted in the shonen manga that she took from a human child, that she impulsively retired from their position as Hell’s naval admiral. Turning away from their workaholic lifestyle ruling the seas of Hell, she leapt into the human world to explore all forms of entertainment and established a demonic headquarters. Leading a crew of assistants, she began streaming activities, but soon found themselves on Hell’s most-wanted list, thanks to a boss determined to drag them back to their duties. Various demons attack to claim the bounty on her head, however with her pet Behemoth, she skillfully navigates the human seas to escape capture. Her trademark is her fiery red hair, glowing under the dark night sky.

Hotaru has sky blue eyes, wavy shoulder-length crimson hair, and dark red markings around her eyes. She wears a black double layered dress with a crimson ruffled hem, a golden ornament with a magenta eye around her neck, and a black, feathered hat with gold trim.

Hotaru's YouTube and Twitch channels were created on 17 September and 18 September, respectively.
On 15 November 2024, she was announced as one of four new members of VShojo JP NOVA, alongside Yutori Peke, Hestia Happiness, and Okamoto Nagi.
On 22 November at 7 PM JST, she held her debut stream on Twitch. The event reached 7,219 viewers at peak. She reached the milestone of 10,000 Twitch followers on the same day. The event was followed by the release of a song cover of Witch Hunt. The debut stream VOD was subsequently posted to YouTube.
