Amae Runa (天江るな) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with the independent VTuber group 天江家 (Amae Family), which includes Amae Runa and her older brother, Amae Hinata. Like her brother, Runa is also an illustrator and is the Mama of Kuroi and Ariyori.

Personality[]
Runa has a lively personality and is easily excitable, especially when playing games. She laughs and screams regularly during game, regardless of whether she wins or loses. Despite being friendly most of the time, Runa can get very competitive when playing games such as Mario Kart and Mahjong.
When she gets caught up in the heat of the moment, Runa and her viewers may begin taunting each other, without being insulting, despite her explicitly banning it in the rules of her streams.

She has long, light brown hair done into pigtails with red ribbons strewn about with a red bow shaped hairband with a gold sun and moon accessory hanging on the corner.

Debut[]
Runa activated her YouTube account on 4 February, 2022, and began activities on Twitter in the same month. She uploaded her first video, an introduction video, on 2 March, 2022, and held her first live stream on the 5th of March.
2022[]
On 14 March, Runa debuted her second 2D costume.[1]
On 5 April, Runa debuted her original song "Kuda Ama Routing".[2]
On 3 July, Runa released a cover of "Ikiru (To Live)" by Mizuno Atsu.[3]
On 17 October, Runa began selling her first merchandise on her booth page.[4]
On 22 October, Runa's YouTube channel reached 5,000 subscribers.
On 18 December, Runa debuted her third 2D costume.[5]
2023[]
en 13 February, 3D model designer, Omega, tweeted that they were working on a 3D model for Amae Runa.[6]
On 5 March, Runa announced her 1st Anniversary merchandise and that she would be participating in the 2023 Spring M3 event.[7]
On 1 June, Runa officially announced her participation in the Virtual Goods Exhibition #33 event.[8]
On 3 August, Runa debuted her summer outfit in a stream.[9]

- Runa's name is a pun on "ameruna," "甘えるな", which means "don't behave like a spoiled child".
