Amaryllis (アマリリス), also known as the Amaryllis-gumi (アマリリス組, Amaryllis Group) in full, was a Japanese agency of female Virtual YouTubers formed in April 2018 by BitStar, Inc.

History[]

Background[]

In 2014, BitStar Inc. was established as a marketing company.

2018[]

In April, BitStar entered the VTuber industry with the formation and launch of its 11-member agency, Amaryllis.

In August, BitStar Inc. announced a partnership with GREE.

On 17 August, Amaryllis announced the end of activities for Rurika Rainwater, Takajo Makina, Yo Reiran, and Himeno Yuko.[1]

Disbanding[]

At the end of September, the agency was dissolved. All 7 remaining members continued their activities as independent VTubers.
