Anew Uparu (亞生うぱる) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber and a member of the Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency VEE. Originally an independent VTuber, she joined VEE in the 3rd wave, along with Aomiya Yozuri, Uriyone, Cotonoha, and Luminous Sweet.

She has long silvery hair with a swirly ahoge and purple eyes with glasses. She has a couple of dark blue hairclips and a katana. She wears loose knee-socks that goes up to slightly under her knees and black platform shoes. She wears a sweater vest like, slightly oversized shirt with a white cross on the chest.

Uparu began as an independent VTuber, seemingly active since early 2021.
Uparu, together with the rest of VEE's 3rd wave, was revealed on 22 August 2022,[1] with Uparu receiving a brand new YouTube and Twitter account, as well as a newly updated Live2D model. On the same day, Uparu tweeted her first tweet on her new Twitter account.[2] She debuted on 26 August.[3]

- Among her dreams are: living a rich Internet live, seeing natural phenomena that are more amazing than dreams, changing the future (as told to her by Dr. Nyamori).
- She says her special ability is playing on piano.
- Among the members of VEE who were formerly independent, Uparu is the only one to re-debut under a brand new YouTube channel.
