Ao WuWu (敖戊戊) is an English and Chinese-speaking VTuber based on a pixiu. She debuted on 22 November as part of V4Mirai's 5th Generation, "AuraRain" alongside Serina Maiko, Komo Dokueki and Paige Terner.[1]
History[]
Background[]
Yuánbǎo (元宝) is a young Pixiu born within the ancient jade forests that surround the Heavenly Gate, a realm where mythical creatures train to guard fortune and repel misfortune. Unlike most Pixiu—who spend their early years learning to channel wealth-attracting energy—Yuánbǎo was unusually curious about the mortal world.
He would often sit atop cloud ledges watching humans build cities, create inventions, and go to school. Fascinated by the idea of learning through books rather than instinct, he asked the Celestial Court for permission to study among humans. After much debate (mostly about whether a Pixiu could fit into a classroom desk), he was granted a temporary “Mortal Realm Exchange Pass.” (fake.)
2025[]
On 20 November, she released her first cover "Undead".
On 1 December, her YouTube channel reached 10,000 subscribers.
On 3 December, she travelled through time and space, and became the emperor of China during the Wu Dynasty.
On 14 December, she got hit by a basketball on the head, and her horn fell off.
At 25 December, she met her worst fear, Santa Claus. They fought and became best friends.
At 28 December, she went into a coma.
On the next day, she woke up with no memories of her life. This is how her new story begins.
At 31 December, she uninstalled league of legends.
2026[]
On 10 January, she began streaming the video game Agreeee. She ended up streaming the game for 19 hours.

- WuWu shares the same illustrator with Hyakumantenbara Salome of NIJISANJI, Chion of Limnos, Amoria of V&U, Serenade Oxblood of Varium, Lucia Laetitia of Nextopia, and Koma Oboro of Specialite.
- Her name uses Chinese naming conventions: "Ao" is her last name. She prefers for other people to call her WuWu with both w's capitalized.
- Her fan name was submitted and voted by the community. The other options were WuRen (武人) and WuShi (武狮, literally Wu Lions).
- WuWu had originally planned to call her fans "WuWu's Kittens", but chose not to because she felt the community would unironically enjoy it.
- "WuWu's Kittens" is now only used to refer to cute anime girls :D
- Traditionally, female pixu have two horns while males have one. Because WuWu has one horn, some people have jokingly called her a femboy.
- or 男娘 Nan Niang, which is femboy in Chinese.
- Her horn is "x + 5 millimeters", with x being apparently any measurable body part length.
