BOOGEY VOXX was a Japanese VTuber duo consisting of Ci the Jiangshi and Fra the Monster who dub themselves a virtual undead unit. They are a hip-hop group with Ci mostly handling the melody and Fra handling the rap parts of their songs.

History[]
Background[]
Both of the group's YouTube and Twitter accounts, as well as Ci's and Fra's Twitter accounts, were created in January 2020. The Twitter accounts started their activities on 29 February 2020 and their first YouTube video was uploaded on 6 March 2020 with a cover of the Vocaloid song "ROKI".
2020[]
On 8 May, they released their first single "D.I.Y."
On 6 June, they released their first EP Fulfill.
On 19 September, they uploaded a remix cover of "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?" as an entry to Mori Calliope's RIP remix contest. It went on to become one of the 15 final selections out of 804 entries.
On 31 October, ADVENTUNE 2 was released. It was a collaboration album of 10 independent VTuber artists where each song is based on different villainous characters. BOOGEY VOXX contributed a song themed after drug lords, "ESCOBAR DANCE".
2021[]
On 6 March, they released their first album Bang!!
On 25 June, they released their second album, BGV's Uta-Bang (#ぶぎぼのうたばん), which is a collection of cover songs of various indie artists.
On 31 October, they released their third album, Shibou-Teki Kansoku (死亡的観測). On the same day ADVENTUNE 3 was also released, to which BGV contributed the drill-themed song "Digmen Funk" for the album's "weapons" motif.
2022[]
On 31 August, BOOGEY VOXX reached 100,000 YouTube subscribers.
On 6 November, both Ci and Fra received new 3D costumes. In these costumes, Ci wears a white T-shirt with a black outlined BOOGEY VOXX design underneath a purple track jacket with white lines. She also wears matching sweatpants with the left leg being shorter shin-wise, as well as pink mouse slippers. Fra's new costume consists of a white T-shirt with a #VOOTLEXX design under a red happi jacket with dark teal shorts containing a white outlined nail pattern, as well as red open-toe slippers.
2023[]
On 10 February, BOOGEY VOXX announced their disbanding. Due to their different activity goals, Ci and Fra would both become independent VTubers starting from 6 March. Both would remain active on their seperate channels. BOOGEY VOXX main channel and Twitter account, even if inactive, would not be deleted.[1]
