Buffpup is an English-speaking American VTuber/VStreamer and Twitch partner who has been streaming since 2018 and officially debuted on 1 May 2021. They officially re-debuted 23 April, 2022. Buffpup is commonly known as the self-admittedly straight female dog Vtuber who loves attending the gym.

Buffpup could be described as one of the most kind and loving streamers on Twitch. She has an amazing community, built around taking care of one and other! What really stands out is just how much love and effort she puts into streaming every weekday and how grateful she is to the kind and amazingly supportive community that she has cultivated.
Along with being very fitness oriented and advocating home-workout, Buffpup is also very passionate about enjoying good food.
Buffpup's motivation for streaming originated from not having many friends at the time to talk to and to make work more enjoyable by having people to interact with whilst doing art. Hence why Buffpup originally did two art days a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where she worked on emote commissions.
Overall, Buffpup is very silly and entertaining, always making her audience laugh and is very easy to get along with.

Werepup
Buffpup's 'Werepup' model can be described as a toned, shaggy werewolf with abs. The model, at times, puts off a very 'Dommy Mommy' vibe as it is easily the tallest Buffpup model and one of the most awe-inspiring. This model retains the classical buff and tan color-set with the modern bright-blue eyes. The most unique of all the models, the Werepup has a long snout, threatening fangs, two huge ears and excessively long hair that covers the face and continues down to the shoulder-blades. The red highlight over their face seen in other models remains. The neck is covered with a large tuft of fur. Lower down, Buffpup's abs are the most defined yet. Their tail is longer and very fluffy. For the first time on a model, Buffpup has not skipped leg-day as their muscly thighs could easily win a marathon. Buffpup's hands and feet have sharp, threatening claws and the entire model is covered in scars and gashes.

Original Buffpup
The first model Buffpup became known for. The model appears exactly as their name suggests, a Buff-Pup. Buffpup's face is an oval shape with two small, pointy ears on top. Her eyes appear like black voids often filled with stars which represent their hope for what the future holds. Her species is a Pomeranian dog, as evidenced by her Neck fluff and curled tail. Their face is strongly based on Roald from the Animal Crossing series.
Her torso is an upside-down triangle with massive bulging arms and chest. Buffpup is commonly criticized for 'skipping leg-day' as unlike the rest of their body, their legs are very skinny, making for a comedic and intriguing appearance. Her posterior is also known for being 'dummy thick' and excessively 'cakey'.
Human[]
Buffpup Human
The human model retains Pomeranian ears, tail, and classic red and gold collar, along with new features. The human model can be described as having a burger themed shirt and shoes, modern sporty pants and star shaped eyes. Connected to the collar is a long, red leash. The new model was made entirely by themselves. Sometimes the lower arms revert partially back to dog form. Buffpup can sometimes transform between her dog form and human form.
Werewolf[]

Introduced on October 18th, 2021, The 'Werebuff/Werepup' model resembles a Werewolf Version of themselves.
Continued on from the 3D Human model, the new model adopts a more shaggy appearance including a large ear piercing, crossed bones hair clip and yellowed eyes. The hair is now a lot longer and messier covering the front of their face with a long tuft.
Most of Buff remains human, except the arms and from the thigh down are covered in shaggy fur tipped with long, white claws and digitigrade feet. Buff's body is also covered in scarred claw marks due to not being in control of their claws at times.
Buff's clothes feature a black spiked collar, black connectors and a checkered red shirt. Most of the midsection is uncovered. The pants are cut-off denim short-shorts with the pockets out. Notably around their wrists and ankles are large silver shackles with cut-off chains.

Buffpup's original Pup form is a normal animated Pomeranian with the only distinctions being the large, shiny black eyes and most notably an oversized red collar with gold accents.
Nerd[]
Buffpup Nerd
BuffpupNerd is an alternative version of Buffpup where instead of being muscular, they are small and wearing clothes, representing a nerd in a loving way. The most notable aspect of this form is the large, circular classes on their face. This representation is used mostly for comedic value and to represent 'big brain' game-play moments.
Puddz[]
Puddz
In lore, Puddz is a slime-cat found in Sozan's dumpster. Sozan said he didn't want Puddz and that Buffpup could take him. It is suspected that due to the slimy texture on Puddz he comes from space and is therefore considered a slimy alien space cat. Along with being a beloved addition to the Buffpup Gym, he is known as the helper and caretaker. Puddz's job is to do small repetitive tasks and take over when Buffpup isn't around. Puddz's design is the way it is because he was Buffpup's first facerig that didn't turn out as it was intended to. So he is now kept as a memorabilia of self improvement and inspiration to keep getting better.

Introduced on April Fool's Day, 2021, the Boneless Pup model is 2-dimentional, small and very wobbly. Somewhat similar to Puddz's style, Boneless Buffpup appears more simple and animated.

Name Origin:[]
The name 'Buffpup' originated from an acquaintance that was with Buffpup when they were working out at the gym and said "You're like a buff pup" after noticing they were short but very buff looking, like "a walking Dorito" chip. After hearing that, Buffpup changed their twitter name to it and once the decision to start streaming was made, miraculously the name 'BuffPup' wasn't taken, so they decided to use it.

Buffpup began streaming on the 22nd of June, 2018. Originally they appeared on stream in person before deciding to switch to a 2D rigged character due to being harassed particularly for being 'Female presenting'. The original Buffpup model was drawn by Buffpup themselves and rigged by PixelVertice. This model persisted for well over a year, right up until the official debut. Post-debut, the model was replaced with a new Buffpup model and an additional human-based model.
As a variety streamer, Buffpup has played an admirably large list of games along with a fair amount of Just Chatting. They also stream digital art, often commissions such as twitch emotes. As long as the community enjoys the game, Buffpup may continue the game intermittently until the game is complete and a satisfying conclusion is obtained. For instance, Buffpup played 'The Long Drive' for over 6 months to reach the ending.
If a community member is generous enough buy a TreatStream where a viewer buys a meal of the streamer's options to get delivered to their home, Buffpup will have a 'TreatTime' where they watch entertaining food videos with the community.

On the 7th of May, 2021, Buffpup got to reach the ending of the game "The Long Drive" at 5137km, making them the first VTuber to achieve such feat.

Buffpup has been featured in an Article by Polygon regarding the topic of VTubers being the perfect fit for the then recent category of Hot Tub streams, which was largely being discussed at the time. Twitch had recently added the new category tag for streamers appearing live in a hot tub with mixed reception.

DreakHack is a yearly broadcast known as "the world's largest digital festival" and a meeting place for gamers that started in 1994.
From July 24th to 31st, 2021, Buffpup was invited to co-host the DreamHack Beyond broadcast streamed on DreamHack's Twitch channel, alongside Reinessa. The DreakHack digital interactive festival also featured its own game in which Buffpup has their own character in.
FOX5 NEWS:[]
Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, Buffpup was interviewed live on WNYW-TV, a FOX station in New York City. Buffpup proceeded to speak about the #dayofftwitch protest where various Twitch streamers boycotted Twitch again, this time to express their dissatisfaction for how little Twitch was doing to combat the hate-raids. At the time, bad-actors would raid innocent Twitch channels, live or offline, spread hateful messages and then report the channel for not moderating said messages. Hate-raids often relied on bots to mass-report unsuspecting streamers.
Buffpup informed FOX 5 viewers about how upsetting hate-raids were to streamers who just wanted to hangout and have fun with friends and how the raids threaten streamer's jobs.

April 4th, 2022 Buffpup went on to R/Place during stream and got the community to place a pre-designed pixel art icon of themselves. The Icon was appropriately located underneath Snuffy's Icon. The community soon proceeded to add a Pan-sexual colored heart.

Buffpup is an advocator of VTubing in general and with a long history of giving away free art, has created 6 Free Live2D facerigs available for anyone to use.
The facerigs include a Plush Bat, Fallguys Bean, Baby Dragon, 2 Foxes and a TemTem Smazee.

Buffpup also created a free Facerig model of Discord's mascot Wumpus. Discord actually used the model in a picture reply here but anything further remains to be seen. As a partial result Discord follows Buffpup on Twitter and has made a rare appearance in Twitch chat.
Before Buffpup was a VTuber, she was a furry artist by the name of "Tihusky" and "Spazzyhusky". Her only furry accounts were closed and deleted before her VTuber career, but much of her art is still scattered online in the furry community, and can usually be found by searching online art websites under those names.

In a far off land, in a narrow strip of woodland known as the "Eternal Woods", lived a werepup. Never fitting in with the humans to the west, the vicious animals in the Dark Forest to the east, and scaring off the smaller woodland creatures wherever they went, Buff was forced to live alone until one fateful day where a small pink rabbit walked right up to her and promptly fell asleep. The actions of this rabbit would lead to the rest of the animals of the Eternal Woods realizing that this giant werepup was not a foe, but a friend.

- WEREPUP REDBUT -
Buff re-debuted their now-current Werepup models on April 23rd, 2022 to resounding support from their community. This debut completely changed the look and feel of the stream, with new alerts, animations, sounds, and art assets being made for the channel. The models revealed during this event were a more human-based model, "Buffpup", as well as the more werewolf-inspired form, "Werepup". Further in the year the VTuber program VTube Studio would allow simple color-changing of models, leading to a variety of color-swaps of the Buffpup model ranging from a blue "Blueberry Buffpup" to a white-furred "Milky Buffpup" along with other variations for events and occasions like Halloween.

- Buffpup suffers from Eosinophilic Esophagitis, a condition involving the shrinking of the esophagus due to inflammation of the surrounding tissue. This makes it difficult to consume food that is too dry or dense. Sufferers of Eosinophilic Esophagitis are told they will have to experiment to see which foods they can and can't eat. Buffpup cannot eat: Eggs (except hard-boiled), Beef, Corn, Wheat and Rice. They must also have their throat stretched about every 5 years.
- Buffpup has stated that a few members of their family suffer from the connective tissue disorder Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (including their mother and sister). This was what kickstarted Buffpup's journey into fitness as they never checked to see if they also had the condition.
