Chibidoki (also known by fans and friends as Chibi) is an independent VTuber signed with Mythic Talent who officially debuted on the 3rd of July, 2021. She is a variety streamer that plays horror games, party games, and indie titles. Chibidoki also uploads edited content to her YouTube channel.

Chibidoki is known for her high chaotic energy, self-deprecating humor, large head and quick-witted insult banter with her chat.

Profile

When Chibidoki originally debuted, her lore stated that she was a crystal dragon. This was short lived, and according to Chibi (during her third year anniversary stream) was only serious for "two weeks".

In her current lore, she is a magical cyber girl that lives in your computer and can see your browser history.

Appearance

Chibidoki has blue eyes and pink hair. Her hair is often worn in twintails and decorated with spiraling ribbons in a white to red gradient. She has small center bangs and longer side bangs that frame her face as well as a small ahoge strand. Her eyebrows are small and oval-shaped and her ears are pointed. Depending on her choice of model at the time, her horns are either small demon horns on her forehead or curved upwards and on the side of her head.

She wears a large magenta and light-pink ribbon with a turquoise heart pendant around her neck, and a magical girl outfit that reveals her midsection in a heart shape. It’s mainly pink, white, and light pink in color, with two long leaf-like additions right below the cutout. The bottom being light pink with a single frilly white and dark pink frill around the bottom. She also wears long plainly white tube socks up to her knees and pink frilled ballerina shoes with half-cut white ribbons on the sides.

Despite Chibidoki's models appearing younger and "chibi" characters generally appearing youthful, Chibidoki is very clear that she and her models are not underage.

History

Background

Sometime in 2016 or 2017, Chibidoki began uploading to YouTube. These early videos are not widely known about but include things like Garry's Mod videos. Chibi first began streaming in 2020.

2021

Chibidoki first streamed with a VTuber model on the 26th of January, 2021. This was not considered a debut stream but is the date that Chibi considers as her Streaming Anniversary. The model used at this time later became known as Chibi 1.0. The early designs for this model were drawn entirely by Chibi.

On 3 July, Chibidoki held an official debut stream. Her model, known as Chibi 2.0, had a new design and outfit to her previous model, as well as official lore. Chibidoki's lore stated that she was a Crystal Dragon General for a dragon army, and was unfortunately stuck in the human realm. Her mission was to build a portal to get back home. In-order for her to do so, she disguised herself as a cute VTuber to brainwash degenerates into building her a portal back home, so she could rejoin her dragon army.

On 9 July, Chibidoki uploaded her first YouTube video, a shortened and edited version of her debut stream, titled "VTUBER DEBUT OUT OF CONTEXT". Chibi's YouTube channel would continue to upload edited versions of her streaming content.

In late 2021, Chibi began using a 3D model for VTubing in addition to her 2D model.

2022

On 8 January, Chibi revealed a new winter outfit for her 2D Model. This outfit was an indigo blue dress with white striped accents and snowflake accessories. Her horns were also altered to be crystal deer horns.

On 30 April, Chibi debuted a new 2D model, referred to as Chibi 3.0. This model featured small demon horns in a pink to blue gradient on her forehead rather than the previous crystal "dragon" horns. The model also featured a pastel pink and blue crystal scythe. The new model came with a change to her lore, as Chibi later admitted that the Crystal Dragon lore was mostly a result of her being lazy. Her new lore was simpler and stated that she was a cyber magical girl who happened to be a VTuber.

On 18 June, Chibi's model was updated to have toggle-able teal hair in honor of her sponsored Colorful Stage stream. She would continue to do this for further Colorful Stage streams, even after updating her 2D model from this point.

On 30 June, Chibi did a teaser reveal of a new 2D model, unofficially known as Chibi 4.0. This model was based on the same design and outfit as Chibi 3.0, though at the time the outfit was not shown. It was later revealed fully the following month.

In July, Chibi revealed a new outfit for her 4.0 2D model, a pink frilled swimsuit, for summer.

On 15 October, Chibi revealed a new "spooky" 3D model. The model, while still stylized, was less "anime" than other models. The outfit was a black lolita style dress and featured black hair ribbons. There were no horns on this model.

On 8 November, Chibi opened an Instagram.

2023

On 10 February, Chibi debuted a new outfit for Valentine's Day. This featured a maid outfit and long hair with white highlights.

On 30 June, Chibi revealed her new 3D model - jokingly referred to as "Jim" upon its debut. The model and its outfit follow in the same scheme and style as Chibi's other models, but specifically uses the 2.0 crystal dragon horns. This model had full VR tracking capabilities and would later be used by Chibi in her VR Gaming, but also was used for simple hand tracking during other games and streams.

From 19-22 October, Chibi attended Twitchcon 2023.

On 25 October, Chibi showed off a "shiny" version of her 4.0 model. The model was changed to have brunette hair, black hair ribbons, red horns, eyes, and outfit accents. She had previously shown a blonde version of her model and called that "shiny" as well, without any alterations to the outfit. She would go on to occasionally alter the colors on her models for fun, including making rainbow hair during June to celebrate Pride Month. Viewers and later Chibi herself would call this version of her model LChibiT, as a pun on LGBT.

On 31 October, Chibi streamed as a log of salami as her Halloween Outfit.

On 17 November, Chibi revealed a new recolor of the outfit for her 4.0 model based on Bowsette for her Super Mario RPG stream. This changed the hair and eyes to red, the clothing to white with black accents, and her hair ribbons and horns to black.

On 24 November, during her 3rd Super Mario RPG stream, her 2023 2D Valentines outfit was recolored. The colors of the hair and outfit were changed to a dark red-tinted purple streaked with a light pink.

On 20 November, Chibi was announced as a Special Guest for Weebcon 2024.

On 27 November, the nominees for the VTuber Awards were announced and Chibi was revealed as a nominee for two awards: "Most Chaotic VTuber", up against Kobo Kanaeru, Trickywi, and Pipkin Pippa; and the "Funniest VTuber" award, up against Zentreya, Kuro Kurenai, and MurderCrumpet.

On 16 December, it was revealed that Chibi won "Funniest VTuber" at the VTuber Awards.

On 27 December, Chibi revealed a new winter outfit for her 4.0 2D model. The outfit was based on pastel rainbow marshmallow twists. It featured an ita-bag style purse with pins representing her friends and chat as well as a toggle for a Pepe plush, hair clip, Cinnamaroll updo, and a beanie.

The outfit reveal was in honor of Chibathon, a 24/7 livestream subathon where proceeds raised would go directly to Chibi's family - specifically to help her sister's college education. The goal for the subathon was to stream for a week, with Chibi taking breaks to sleep while leaving clip shows playing. A mascot character, a pink dog-like creature with a design made to match Chibi, was revealed during the subathon and was set up to read chat's TTS messages. During the subathon, Chibi lost her voice from talking too much and in the following month continued to have the occasional voice issues.

During Chibathon, Chibi announced two new models. Chibmin, a pink Pikmin with Chibi's hairstyle, was shown during the Chibathon. The reveal for the second model, the Furry Model, was postponed to a later date due to Chibi's health and wanting to give it a proper debut rather than during the chaos of the subathon.

In late 2023, Chibi started showing hints and teasers of a new "evil" looking outfit for her 4.0 model, featuring blood splatters, red eyes, face markings, and dark purple accents. This model has yet to debut as of February 2024.

2024

On 19 January, Chibi revealed her 3D Furry model.

On 24 January, a 3D model of Chibidoki's chat mascot was released. The model was commissioned by Chibi, made by MonAmiral, and was free to use.

On 26 January, for her third anniversary stream, Chibi revealed a new 2D "gremlin" model made by Honey Kub. The design and outfit are largely based on her 3.0 and 4.0 iterations, but with proportions of a much more "chibi" style and with sillier effects. Clips from this model went viral in many online spaces after it was revealed, especially within Spanish speaking communities.

On 4 February, Chibi's YouTube reached 300,000 subscribers.

On 7 February, Chibidoki partnered with Ironside Computers for a limited edition custom PC and Case with Chibi's likeness and design.

On 2 March, YouTooz released a Chibidoki plush doll. The plush was only available for 14 days and was shipped in mid-June.

On 6 March, Chibidoki reached 400,000 Followers on Twitch. On this day, she was the 24th highest followed VTuber on Twitch.

On 27 April, Chibi revealed a new outfit for her Honey Kub model that featured a kigurumi based on the chat mascot as well as the mascot perched on her head. This outfit included new toggles for expressions.

In early June, Chibi began teasing a new model, to be revealed on her birthday at the end of the month. The teaser featured flower and pearl barrettes, large bows, and crossed eyes; the latter is something that her Honey Kub gremlin model has as a toggle that Chibi and her community had grown very fond of while using it in the first half of 2024. This model was eventually debuted and is known as Chibi 5.0, Clown Chibi, or Pierrot Chibiand launched aside a full line of merch from uwumarket.

As of June 2024, Chibidoki was the #18 top followed VTuber on Twitch.

On 22 August, it was revealed that Chibidoki and YouTooz were collaborating again - this time on a plush based on the Chat Mascot and a vinyl figure of Chibidoki herself. The "chase" version of the vinyl figure had crossed eyes.

On 2 December, Chibidoki was announced as one of the nominees for Funniest VTuber at the VTuber Awards alongside Gigi Murin, Bao, Koseki Bijou, and Kenji.

On 14 December, Chibidoki won Funniest VTuber at the VTuber Awards for the second year in a row.

2025

On 17 January, it was revealed that a Chibidoki Haori would be released on uwumarket. The release also included a restock of previously sold out limited-edition merchandise.

At the end of January, it was announced that Chibidoki would release a third plush collaboration with brand YouTooz. This plush was a Valentines themed version of her model.

On 22 February 2025, Chibidoki passed 600,000 Twitch followers and became the #15 top followed VTuber on Twitch.

• Her biggest fictional crush is Bowser.
• Chibi often expresses her love and attraction to characters that are monstrous, evil, morally dubious, or otherwise "scary". This can be seen during game play of horror games where she often will flip between being frightened and barking or calling out flirtatiously. This eventually manifested in a livestream for her third anniversary where she made a slideshow showing off her fictional crushes.
• She has an unironic love and appreciation for many games and franchises that are widely disregarded as "cringe". This is best exemplified in her genuine love for the Garten of Banban series and eventually led to her guest appearance as a voice actor for a minor character in the 2025 release Garten of Banban 0.
• Chibi prefers savory flavors over sweet flavors. This often surprises people, as her appearance and demeanor often has chatters assuming she would love candy and sweets.

General

• "Chibidoki" as a moniker has been explained as "something small and cute" as well as "a heartbeat", which Chibi jokingly refers to as meaning "heart attack".
• Chibidoki prefers that fans shorten her name to "Chibi" rather than just "Doki" to not confuse or conflict with Dokibird.
• The inspiration for Chibidoki's design comes from a combination of Yumi's Cyber Ace Morph from Ape Escape 3, Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and designs in Magical Doremi.
• Though Chibidoki jokes around using adult or lewd-leaning language, she is NOT a lewdtuber and does not appreciate or consent to lewd comments directed at her or about her models.
• Certain potentially lewd topics, such as her having a flat chest, are regular jokes by her and her chat. This does not constitute a change in the above attitude, however.
• She spent her early life in Germany. Despite this, she does not speak the language.
• She has expressed wanting to learn German and Spanish.
• She has admitted to many unusual eating habits and preferences. Many of these have become memes in her community, such as "peeling" chicken nuggets of their coating and only eating the "skin".

Recurring Jokes & Gags

• Chibi's tongue rolling vocal stim comes from mimicking the Plague from Dead by Daylight.
• A running gag in her community is that Chibidoki has a large head. Canonically, her head is too big to be defined by a simple measurement.
• Chibidoki is often accused of faking her voice, sometimes leading to accusations that she is using a voice changer. While she admits that she played up some of the cutesy aspects of her voice early on in her streaming, she often has to defend herself against the voice changer claim. To an extreme, this running joke can lead people to accuse her of being a man pretending to be a girl.
• Chibi will very often joke about having masculine qualities, including body parts and a voice, both in her general humor and to troll people who seriously believe she uses a voice changer.
• Chibi's status as a furry is often a humorous debate between her and her chat - though Chibi's official stance is that she is not a Furry but appreciates the community. Despite this, but evidence to the contrary is often brought up and she is teased about it. This culminated in reluctantly revealing a Furry model in 2024 - despite being in production prior, this was partially a subgoal and reward to her community for winning Funniest VTuber at the VTuber Awards.
