Chiyuu (千幽 lit. thousand underworld/Qiān yōu) is a female Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with VirtuaReal, NIJISANJI's Chinese Virtual Liver branch, as part of its eleventh generation (aka 人外天国/Rén wài tiān guó) alongside Tanoshiba, Imi, and Mari.

Chiyuu is filled with bewilderment towards the human world. One, she doesn't hate humanity, two she isn’t bitter and three she doesn’t murder for money. She is content as a ghost; she merely wants to talk with people normally, share her evil plans she came up with herself and make lots of friends. What’s wrong with that?
Any place she passes by always raises extremely horrific and terrifying rumours, such as “The ghost girl in the mirror with a distorted face”, "A teddy bear that can cry”, ”A piano that automatically plays music so unpleasant that it can make your teeth fall out”. These rumours gave the hard-working Chiyuu a strange thrill but at the same time utter despair. With her appearance warping day by day, she became all the more anxious about her future.
After searching for solutions by every possible means, Chiyuu received a mobile phone from the hand of a certain black-haired double-ponytailed woman; a phone that can allow her to normally communicate with the outside world, but also as a result signed a contract to become a streamer under the banner of VirtuaReal. Even though the tasks she needs to complete seem inconvenient, at least now she can make contact with living things close to her. For her who has nothing, that's enough.[3]

On 5 December 2020, the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts teased the upcoming Livers with an image of their silhouettes.
On 6 December 2020, VirtuaReal officially announced their eleventh generation of Virtual Livers, including Chiyuu, accompanied by their designs and profiles.[3] Chiyuu made her first dynamic post and released her first video, a cover of twinkle night, on the same day.
On 18 December 2020, the eleventh wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Chiyuu being the last.[4]
