Coqui Saporana is an English language VTuber and a team member of South Side. She streams on Twitch. In 2023, she became a member of 3AM Talent.

I'm in a two-member girl gang called the South Side Skinks! Rummy's the boss, and I'm the boss when Rummy isn't around and that's all ya' gotta know!!
Personality[]
Coqui is a delinquent frog-girl who grew up terrorizing the streets with her friend and partner in crime, Rummy. She is apparently human aside from her ability to turn into a frog form and her having a small frog tail that never went away from her tadpole-girl to frog-girl stages as she grew up. Rummy and Coqui eventually decided to form a two girl gang called the South Side Skinks with Rummy as Boss and Coqui as Sub-Boss (determined by Rummy being taller than Coqui). Together, they continue to wreak havoc on the streets from their home base in the sewers. Especially, they enjoy playing pranks on the skeezy local arcade owner, Krimbo. Due to their past arrests, they have a lazy probation officer named Grimbull.
Over time, the South Side grew to accept more members eager to make mischief. This includes a cavewoman, a possum who lives in a dumpster, a magical cat-girl under house arrest, and a variety of other individuals. Coqui currently continues her gangly work as sub-boss, taking over as boss when Rummy isn't around (and wearing Rummy's hat).
Appearance[]
She has black hair in pigtails and a lightning bolt shaped neon green streak in her bangs, with purple streaks and pointed 'horns'. She had red eyes with a scar/marking and sharp teeth with a round studded tongue piercing. She wears a black hoodie with purple collar.
History[]
Background[]
The Rummy and Coqui YouTube channel was created on 11 November 2020. The pair officially debuted on YouTube on 9 December 2020, although the video is no longer available. The earliest video on their YouTube channel is a stream of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Coqui's Live2D model was illustrated by Rem and rigged by ars.
Coqui debuted alongside Rummy as half of the South Side Skinks. Originally, Coqui did not see Twitch as something for her, as she thought it was only reserved for gaming content, later discovering variety content was entirely acceptable and finding her niche there. She began streaming with a small community, doing deep dive and variety streams. Over time, she began to do some gaming streams on recommendation from viewers as well.
2021[]
On 9 January, Coqui created her Twitch channel. Her first Twitch stream was on 8 April, when she held a chicken nugget eating contest with Rummy, with a guest appearance by Krimbo. Rummy won the contest by a wide margin, with clips showing a score of 50 to 19.
On 29 April, Coqui made her last stream to YouTube, having moved her primary activity to Twitch.
2022[]
On 10 March, Coqui revealed a new Live2D model illustrated by Farfin, also known as the illustrator of Meat and Sigrid and Bird. She continued to use her regular model for most streams, and she would use the Farfin model mainly in collabs with the aforementioned VTubers.
On 5 June, she held an egg laying contest with Bird (of Sigrid and Bird), with Bird laying bird eggs and Coqui laying frog eggs. The victor of the contest was Coqui.
On 4 November, Coqui held a re-debut stream on Twitch, in which she unveiled a new Live2D model distinguished by a green hair stripe instead of purple. Guests included Meat, duo Sigrid and Bird, Callie Calico, and Krimbo.
On 24 December, Coqui reached 10,000 Twitch followers.
The most popular categories of Coqui's Twitch content in this year were Just Chatting and Special Events. Her top games were VRChat, Minecraft, and Resident Evil Village.
2023[]
On 23 June, Coqui reached 20,000 Twitch followers.
On 18 September, she announced that she had become a full-time streamer.[1]
On 2 October, Coqui announced that she joined 3AM Talent.
2024[]
On 29 July, Coqui announced a hiatus due to suffering from laryngitis.[2]
On 5 August, she held a TTS stream. She returned in earnest on 16 August.
