CyYu (short for Cyborg SeiYu) is the VTuber persona of Alejandro Saab, a professional voice actor and YouTuber known for making anime-related content and voicing several characters in various animes, cartoons, and video games.

CyYu's original model has short silver hair with cyan tips and yellow eyes with black markings that run from the bottom of each eye to the jaw. His arms, torso, and legs are made out of white cybernetic segments with black and yellow accents. He wears a pair of black headphones, purple armguards, and a purple scarf that extends into a black semi-cape. This version of CyYu is described as the "center of it all," the daydreamer, the part of Cy Yu's mind that is imaginative and nice.

Female/CyFy

The female model, also known as CyFy, is largely similar to the original model though with a few differences: longer hair, wider eyes, and a more feminine body type. This version is described as CyYu's love, cunning, and feminine side.

Shark

The shark model has short, spiky silver hair, yellow eyes that fade into cyan, and the same facial markings as the original. He still wears a purple scarf though this one does not extend into a cape. His main body is dark teal with cyan markings. Various elements of the design resemble the shark animal, most notably the shark head attached to his chestpiece. This version is described as CyYu's hopes and dreams, ambitions, and competitiveness.

2.0

The 2.0 model has silver hair that's short in the front and long in the back, with pink tips in the front. He has heterochromia, the left eye having the same yellow-cyan color as the shark model, while his right eye is bright pink. His main body is black with pink accents. He wears a blue holographic scarf, and a black-and-pink visor over his eyes. This version is the result of CyYu's fragmented selves joining together and finally becoming whole.

Mahamatra/CyYuNo

The Mahamatra model, also known as CyYuNo, is based on Cyno, a character in Genshin Impact that CyYu voices. The model's base is nearly identical to the 2.0 model with the only difference being that both eyes are the same yellow-cyan color as 2.0's left eye. The main body is black and gold with yellow and purple accents. He wears a purple scarf and black and yellow headphones. Additional toggles include a purple visor over his eyes with jackal ears and turning his right arm into the Pactsworn Pathclearer, a massive claw that Cyno uses for his Elemental Burst. This model is used when CyYu plays Genshin Impact or other Hoyoverse games.

Female/CyFy 2.0

The CyFy 2.0 model features a more feminine body type, with the black and pink visor found on the 2.0 model now resembling a large bow. Additionally, the main body resembles the original CyYu model, but it has pink accents instead of yellow. The model also includes a large dress skirt that resembles the blue holographic scarf from the 2.0 model.

History

Background

On 30 July, 2021, CyYu made his Twitch debut. The VOD of his debut and his lore video were uploaded to his YouTube channels the following day.

2021

On 7 December, CyYu reached 30,000 Twitch followers.

2022

On 15 November, CyYu debuted with his new shark-themed model.

2023

On 19 February, CyYu debuted with a new female model.

On 16 March, Mythic Talent announced that CyYu had joined their content creator management company.

On 7 June, CyYu streamed on YouTube for the first time.

2024

On 27 January, CyYu made his 2.0 debut with a new model.

On 29 April, CyYu debuted his new Mahamatra model and released his first-ever apparel line in collaboration with S-Tier Apparel, which was available until May.

On 20 December, CyYu debuted an updated female model.
