DearPekoe, or just Pekoe, is an independent English speaking Vtuber. Her name is pronounced similarly to 'pi-koh'.

She first began streaming in May of 2024.

Personality

Self proclaimed "silly green rabbit on the internet," Pekoe is a warm, kind, and easily excitable girl who loves to tell stories and talk with her chat. While streaming, it doesn't take much from her chat to cause her to devolve into rambles, sharing both related and unrelated stories to her streaming topic. As it is, she calls her art streams her "glorified yap streams."

Pekoe tends to lean more on the sensitive side, genuinely being easy to scare, fluster, or make anxious, sometimes this being the reason for her needing to delay or end streams earlier. Aside from this, she is incredibly silly and easy to make laugh. She can be slightly oblivious, with sarcasm and certain jokes going over her head from time to time.

Appearance

Pekoe is a 5'3" rabbit girl with green hair and lop ears that reach below her knees. Small green sprouts of Camellia sinensis are scattered in her hair and on her body, together with band-aids on various places in her body.

Pekoe's 0.5 model is quite short in height, most likely shorter than her current 160cm measurement. She has short hair, and long bunny ears going downwards. She has blue eyes, painted black nails, and wears a brown jacket on top of (what seems to be) a virgin killer sweater. To add, the jacket has a bunny logo on it's left pocket, and she wears Mary Jane shoes.

2.0

For her 2.0 model, Pekoe grew slightly from her 0.5 (and 1.0), but most things were kept the same, such as her hair and ears. Her eyes are now green from this model forward. Her jacket is now green, and she wears a simple white dress below it. She has large fur tufts around her ankles, and around her neck. This is also her first time she is barefoot! (Feet? For free?? 🤨)

3.0

For her 3.0 model, she sports an oversized white button up shirt with a green belt wrapped around her waist. Her ears are now even longer, but her hair is still cut short. Her legs and arms are covered in bandages with sprouts coming out from under them. She has large fur tufts around her wrists, ankles, and around her neck, with an extremely large fluffy rabbit tail. She's also finally wearing some footwear, those being black slip-on shoes.

For her 4.0 model, Pekoe (almost completely) redesigned her model. She now has shorter bunny ears pointing upward (instead of previously downwards), and her hair can be toggled to be short or very long. She wears a white scarf on top of her neck fluff, to hide some kind of gem she has, bonded to her body. She wears tall thick socks, with green shoes reminding of Converse/All-Stars. Her green jacket can also be toggled off. She also has a chill/pajama outfit, which sees her wear a Sonic shirt, black tight shorts, and removing her shoes.

Anatomy

Pekoe has a very detailed 4.0 anatomy chart. On debut, it was revealed she is "Technically dead, but kept alive through sheer feat _{(and magic)}. Adding that she is "originally an organic creature, shaped by nature to become an amalgamation of animal and plant matter", being composed of 30% animal, and 70% plant. The anatomy chart has some interesting and very detailed information, such as "feeling hungry is more like feeling cold", "legs make up dichotomous root branching", and "ass so fat you want to unalive thyself".

On most streams, Pekoe uses The Wattersons' House (from The Amazing World of Gumball) as her background. On her 4.0 Debut, Pekoe did a skit with a model inspired on the art-style of the cartoon.

Pekoe also has toggles for round, brown/black frame glasses, "hypnotic" glasses, drinking boba, waving penlights, holding daicons, gesturing with her hands (like thumbs up, OK sign), hugging plushies (like Glorp, Miku) (made by MoshiStudio).

History

Background

Pekoe first began sharing progress of her model's creation around late 2023. She designed, drew, and rigged her model and periodically shared updates on Twitter. Her initial design underwent many changes until she settled on her current design.

2024

Upon the completion of her first model, Pekoe had her first stream on May 24th, 2024, as a test. Once she realized she enjoyed streaming, she realized she was dissatisfied with her model and proceeded to completely remake her model and had her official debut June 2nd as "pekoebunny".

By June 6th, she had reached affiliate.

As her art style continued to evolve, she had begun working on another model, frequently referred to as her 3.0. She debuted this model on August 22nd.

In August, she joined Beribug's VTRP Grand Theft Auto V server with her character, "Big Jo Anne."

By early December of 2024, she had reached around 500 followers.

2025

In April of 2025, Pekoe had reached 1000 followers on her Twitch channel. In order to celebrate, she proceeded to thank every single one of her followers, taking her a little over 5 hours and many pronunciation attempts.

Pekoe debuted her 4.0 model on June 6th of 2025. She also released a picrew for her community on this date.

On November 4th, Pekoe changed her username from "pekoebunny" to "dearpekoe."

Mascot and fans

• Her mascot, Tama, was heavily inspired by her childhood cat, Faith.

Trivia

• Outside of VTubing, Pekoe is a botanist and works with plants.
• Her favorite types of tea are matcha and earl grey tea, with a "splash of milk."
  • She does not typically sweeten her teas and considers Starbucks' matcha lattes a disgrace. Despite this, she still does enjoy sweet drinks from time to time.
• She loves boba.
• Rainy weather is her favorite type of weather. Despite this, she is afraid of thunder.
• Despite easily being spooked, she loves things that are horror themed.
  • She has difficulties handling media that is "too gory," but if she enjoys the media enough, she will cover her eyes or look away temporarily.
• Pekoe is prone to hiccupping at random. She does not know why she does this.
• Pekoe has several vocal stims. One of her vocal stims is a voice oscillation of her saying "ooooooh," or a long oscillating vowel /o͞o/ sound. Another one of them seems to be a "bbbbbrrbrrbb" sound that she tends to do after tripping on her words.
• Her oshi mark is meant to represent "tiny grass dreaming."
