Detsy (also known as Detsy VR) is an independent VTuber based in North America, with English as his main streaming language. Detsy hasn't had an official debut yet, but he's been active on Twitch since August 2020. He mostly streams VR Chat and various videogames and hosts virtual social events (called "meetups") from time to time.
Personality[]
Detsy is an easygoing individual who enjoys casually chatting and engaging with his community. When encountering a particularly scary or frustrating part in a video game, Detsy usually reacts in a very vocal manner, leading to many clipworthy moments. He is also very easily entertained and isn't above immature humor, underlined by his catchphrase being the word "Penis".
While not particularly sociable or outgoing, Detsy enjoys collaborating with fellow content creators (such as Fufu, Tippy Hendrix, Rekson, MacroWeen, VarooVT and many others). He also doesn't shy away from participating in relatively large events, as he has appeared on several of Filian's shows as a participant.
Detsy occasionally hosts mass virtual social events (meetups) for his community. He has also hosted events for Filian's VR Chat community.
Appearance[]
Detsy uses a customized variant of publicly available "Mint" VR Chat model. Detsy's Mint has white hair with blue highlights, blue eyes and black clothes decorated with imagery of snowflakes. Prior to his current color scheme he used to use a pink Mint, and for Halloween switches to an orange color scheme (dubbed "Piss Mint" by his community). He sometimes adds thematical decorations to his outfit, such as a Santa hat for the Christmas season.
Occasionally Detsy switches to other VR Chat avatars. Prior to settling on Mint, he also used "Rusk" avatar for some time.

Early history[]
Prior to becoming a VTuber, at a very young age, Detsy used to stream raw gameplay without commentary from his Xbox. He then streamed for some time as a voice-only streamer under the alias "Detective Sans", before eventually learning about VTubers from his cousin and becoming one himself.
2022[]
On 28 July, Detsy reached 100 followers on Twitch.[3]
2023[]
On 20 May, Detsy reached 500 followers on Twitch. Also on this day, he started his "2nd Anniversary" subathon.
On 12 September, Detsy reached 1000 followers on Twitch.
2024[]
On 6 June, Detsy reached 1500 followers on Twitch.
On 20 July, Detsy hosted his "3rd Anniversary" marathon stream.
On 7 November, Detsy reached 500 subscribers on Youtube.

Detsy's fanbase is called The Mints, but the name isn't actually commonly used.

Trivia[]
- The name Detsy on its own doesn't mean anything. It is a slightly changed portmanteau of his previous username, Detective Sans. The name Detective Sans is still used on Detsy's Streamlabs and Steam.
- Detsy loves animals and kept pets through his life, notably, a guinea pig named Ookmar that appeared on one of Filian's shows. He currently keeps two pet dogs.
- Detsy's actual father, Dadsy, is sometimes heard on stream loudly cheering while watching football on Sundays. Detsy also sometimes has his cousin on stream as a co-host.
- Detsy likes the video game "Last Year" and has on multiple occasions expressed desire to get sponsored by the game's publisher.
- Detsy's channel has a channel point redeem to make him utilize a webcam microphone instead of his main microphone. During the 3rd anniversary marathon stream viewers have convinced him to lick the webcam microphone.
