Elira Pendora (エリーラ ペンドラ) is a female English Virtual YouTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI EN's first wave "LazuLight", alongside Pomu Rainpuff and Finana Ryugu.

Friendly, supportive, and welcoming, Elira is a well-rounded streamer who vibes well with everyone. Often seen as a big, lovable dork, she connects with her viewers over common interests such as shonen manga or anime and tends to be well-versed in "zoomer" culture, despite her canonical age. Though relatively laid-back compared to other EN Livers, Elira is fairly cheeky in her own right and will (lovingly) tease her viewers from time to time. Her singing is held in high regard by many Livers, including those from other branches.

She has medium length light blue hair past her shoulders with bangs covering her eyes and "wings" on the side of her head with light blue eyes and multiple cross shaped hair clips. She has white overalls over a white off shoulder sweater top with purple stripes on the sleeves.
History
Background
On 30 November 2020, NIJISANJI opened their first auditions for English-speaking countries, with the audition period lasting until 15 December.[3] YouTube channels for NIJISANJI EN's first wave of Livers were created on 21 April 2021, and their Twitter accounts were created in May 2021.
On 12 May 2021, NIJISANJI's official English Twitter announced the upcoming debut of NIJISANJI EN's first wave, LazuLight, releasing a teaser with the new Livers' designs and voices.[4][5] Their Twitter and YouTube accounts were also made public at this time.
Debut
LazuLight began their activities on 16 May 2021[TZ] as part of a special debut program on the NIJISANJI World channel hosted by Hana Macchia and Bonnivier Pranaja. Elira was the second of the group to debut. Her debut stream opened with her rendition of "God Knows..." and was especially memorable due to using the pun "dragon deez nuts."[1] Afterwards, LazuLight appeared on the main channel, where each member received a piece of the moon from Staff-san.[6] After the debut program, LazuLight released their first original song, Diamond City Lights. This song was composed by Mafumafu, and the lyrics were written by Nelson Babin-Coy and Hoshikawa Sara.[7]
2021
On 4 June, Elira reached 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.[8] At the time, this made her the fastest NIJISANJI Liver to do so with a record of 18 days, which would later be broken a month later by Leos Vincent.
On 6 June, her YouTube channel was approved for monetization.
On 25 June, it was announced that Elira would be the vocalist for the English version of "Trial and Error", produced by banvox and the fourth song in NIJISANJI's 3rd anniversary music project, "PALETTE".[9] The song was released on various streaming services on 16 July.[10]
On 7 July, Elira held her first Twitch stream due to technical difficulties with YouTube, becoming the first NIJISANJI EN Liver to stream on Twitch. However, the archive was lost, as she forgot to activate the appropriate setting.[11]
On 18 July, LazuLight's debut voice packs went on sale, with custom voice packs limited to the first 100 purchases.
On 26 August, she opened memberships on her YouTube channel.
On 24 September, she hosted a sponsored Onmyoji stream on her channel with the other members of LazuLight. This marked NIJISANJI EN's very first sponsored stream.
On 16 October, she celebrated her birthday by premiering a cover of "Goodbye Sengen."
On 18 October, her YouTube channel reached 200,000 subscribers.
On 26 November, her Twitter account received its verification badge.[12] Also on this day, she held a sponsored stream of Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku as part of the promotion for its upcoming release.
On 15 December, her duet cover of "Cruel Angel's Thesis" with Seffyna premiered on Seffyna's channel.
On 19 December, Elira's "First Step Goods" merchandise and Christmas 2021 voice pack went up for sale.
2022
On 22 January, LazuLight announced in a collab that on 29 January, they would get new costumes.[13] They made the Twitter hashtag "#LazuDrip" so that fans could send their predictions for the outfits.[14][15] Elira's hashtag for impressions of her new outfit was #PeepTheFit.
On January 29, she revealed her new outfit, a cloud-themed kimono with a frilly skirt and a fur collar. In this outfit, she sports a bobbed haircut and a tiara. [16]Later, new merchandise went up for sale to celebrate LazuLight's new outfits.[17]
On 15 March, Elira's "White Day 2022" voice pack went up for sale.
On 24 March, Elira reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[18]
On 22 April, Elira's "Sakura Bloom 2022" voice pack and goods went up for sale. Merchandise included acrylic keychains, file folders, and badges.[19]
On 17 May, LazuLight's 1st Anniversary goods went up for sale. Merchandise included acrylic stands, snapshot cards, badges, file folders, NIJIPuppets, and T-shirts designed by LazuLight. Elira's T-shirt featured LazuLight as eggs.[20]
On 28 June, Elira reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[21]
On 6 August, NIJISANJI announced that Elira would participate in a special 3D showcase on Day 2 of NijiFes 2022 alongside Pomu, Finana, and Hana Macchia.[22]
On 31 August, Elira's "Summer Vacation 2022" voice pack went up for sale. She was featured in the artwork for this series.[23]
On 2 October, Elira Pendora showcased her 3D model alongside Hana Macchia in "Daylight Dimension Dive" on Day 2 of NijiFes 2022, becoming the first EN Liver to receive a 3D model.
On 5 October, Elira reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 13 October, Elira's "Halloween 2022" voice pack went up for sale.[23]
On 16 October, Elira's 2022 birthday goods and voice went up for sale.
On 24 November, Elira's "Thanksgiving" goods went up for sale. Merchandise included mug candles, acrylic stands, badges, wooden keychains, and lap blankets.
On 7 December, Elira's "Winter Date 2022" goods and voice went up for sale. She was one of ten Livers featured in this series. Merchandise included scarves, photo frames, acrylic keychains, file folders, and snapshot cards.[24]
2023
On 6 January, NIJISANJI EN's official Twitter announced that LazuLight would be holding their 3D reveal streams, with Elira holding her 3D reveal first on 13 January.[25]
On 13 January, Elira held her 3D reveal stream, becoming the first overseas Liver to officially debut their 3D model.[26]
On 8 April, Elira revealed her third outfit, consisting of a beige cardigan, a white long-sleeved blouse, round glasses, and a long plaid skirt. Due to sporting a high ponytail, her left eye was revealed for the first time. This model was based on her outfit from NIJISANJI Archives 2021-2022.
On 11 May, "LazuLight 2nd Anniversary" goods went up for sale. In addition to acrylic stands, snapshot cards, and hologram badges, merchandise included NIJI-NUI plushies, a music box, and in Elira's case, a "Weewa" cushion. "NIJISANJI EN 2nd Anniversary" goods also went up for sale, including a "#FamElira" rubber keychain, a LazuLight-colored sling bag, and an Elira-themed solid perfume scented with citrus, violet, and muguet.[27]
On 31 December, Elira reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[28]
2024
Following the controversy around Selen Tatsuki's termination, her YouTube channel lost over 10,000 subscribers over the span of 8 days. As of 11 February, it amounts to 597,000, nullifying previously achieved milestone.
On 12 February, after releasing a joint statement about the situation from Elira, Vox Akuma and Ike Eveland, her channel lost over 10,000 subscribers in less than 24 hours.
On 18 May, Elira revealed her 3.0 Brushup, adding new expressions to her model.
On 14 November, Elira and Enna Alouette released their original song, "SOLAR DAWN", as part of the NIJISANJI EN project: ENcounter.

- On 24 June, NIJISANJI's English Twitter account announced that every LazuLight member would appear in "Anime Expo Lite 2021."[29]
- On 1 July, Otakuthon Twitter account announced that every LazuLight member would appear in "Otakuthon At Home 2021" as guests.[30]
- On 15 September, all members of LazuLight and OBSYDIA participated in the "Meltdown" Jackbox game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel.[31]
- On 22 November, all members of LazuLight, OBSYDIA, and Ethyria participated in the "Ready! Get Set! Clash!" Mario Kart game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel, with Elira taking 3rd place overall.

- On 1 January, OffKai Expo's Twitter account announced that every LazuLight member would appear in "OffKai Expo" as guests.[33] LazuLight held their OffKai Expo panel on 29 April, which was later uploaded to YouTube on 16 August.[34]
- On 14 February, Elira featured as one of the hosts for the "NIJIAnswer" game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel, alongside Nina Kosaka and Vox Akuma.[35]
- On 22 May, Elira was part of the merchandise collaboration with Otaku Culture Lab alongside , Selen Tatsuki, Petra Gurin, Shu Yamino, Luca Kaneshiro, and Vox Akuma.[36] Limited-time goods included fans, wooden sake boxes, senjafuda stickers, wooden name tags, noren curtains, tenugui towels, and temperature-sensitive cups.

- On 11 November, Family Mart announced a collaboration with Elira, Selen, Vox, Reimu Endou, Mysta Rias, Ike Eveland, Sonny Brisko, and Alban Knox.[40] Beginning 15 November until 28 November, customers were eligible for clear files featuring Elira, Selen, Mysta, and Alban if they bought two snack products. Files features handwritten messages by the members. A clear file featuring all four was also available if customers bought two jelly products.[41][42]
- On 23 November, WIXOSS TCG's official Twitter revealed that Elira would be featured in the upcoming "NIJISANJI DIVA" collaboration pack. Elira's card art was revealed on 12 December, and the collaboration pack was released on 24 December.[43][44]
2023
- On 15 January, LazuLight and Ethyria attended ANIME Impulse LA 2023 as guests, where they held meet & greet sessions and a live concert designated #HOPCONcert.[45][46][47]
- On 1 March, Higan: Eruthyll announced an original song collaboration with NIJISANJI EN to celebrate its global release, featuring vocals from Elira, Pomu Rainpuff, Enna Alouette, and Maria Marionette. The original song, "Cage of Desire", premiered on 3 April.[48][49]
- On 25 April, NijiGen Expo's Twitter announced that Elira, alongside Pomu, Finana, Enna, and Millie would be holding a concert at NijiGen Expo on July 15. Titled "The Beginning of NIJI GENERATION", this concert was touted as NIJISANJI EN's first concert in SEA.[50][51]
- On 25 May, Anime Expo's official Twitter announced that LazuLight would be holding a panel at Anime Expo 2023 on 2 July, consisting of a talk show and a special 3D performance.[52]

- Her fanbase is referred to as "FamElira," a combination of "family" and "Elira."
