Erai Amae (偉雷アマエ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber and a member of the Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency VEE. She joined VEE's 4th group Dev-d, along with Kitashirakawa Kakapo and Yurikawa Yun.

She is an ordinary girl who has had odd eyes (natural) since birth, which makes her believe that she has mysterious powers because she is different from others.
Her power is said to be of the [⚡thunder⚡] type, but no one has ever seen it in action. She is waiting for the day when her abilities will be unleashed...
Beside her is "Buka", a pet that can hear the listener's voice.

She has medium-length white hair arranged in twintail hairbuns, with an orange ahoge and some orange and yellow highlights. She has a lightning bolt shaped hair pin adorning her hair. She has heterochromatic eyes with a a cyan iris on her left eye and a an orange iris on her right eye.

Background[]
Amae, together with the rest of VEE's 4th group Dev-d, was revealed on 24 October 2022.[1] On the same day, she made her first tweet on her Twitter account.[2]

Mascot and fans[]
- Next to her often hovers her pet, Buka. It resembles a cross between a hamster and a flying squirrel. It has an ability to hear listener's voice.
- Amae calls her fans the "Amae-tai" (アマエ隊, Amae's Team). It's also a pun on the Japanese word for "wanting to be pampered" (甘えたい, amaetai?).
Trivia[]
- Her dreams are to become a master of thunder that many people will remember and to see lots of orange penlights at her 3D solo show.
- Her favorite things are playing video games and being lazy.
- She says her special abilities are: being able to fall asleep instantly, singing, sports.
- Together with Kitashirakawa Kakapo and Yurikawa Yun, all members of Dev-d have Heterochromia.
