Personality[]

Ichika is a gentle-natured and playful "fairy of knowledge" from the Fairy Forest whose streams focus on recorder playing, singing, games, learning languages, food, and academia (psychology/science). She's a self-proclaimed mathematics master (her specialty is differential equation) and playing songs on recorder by ear. She's also an amateur chef.[2]

Ichika streams with both a Live2D avatar and on camera from the neck down, referred to as her "grrreat 3D Model". She has a natural R-cup in both forms.

She speaks Japanese and English in her streams and has done Duolingo learning streams for Spanish and Chinese. She also does Duolingo for Hindi and Esperanto. She actively courts an overseas audience and shows a good awareness of English memes.

2020[]

Her YouTube channel was created on February 18. Her first known stream, a collaboration with Wakakusa Ann, was on August 2.[3][4] Her initial streams used a different Live2D model illustrated by Tesshu Sucottei.[5]

On 24 September, she celebrated hitting 1,000 subscribers and released a self-introduction video. Both her self-introduction and stream that day featured her new Live2D model.[6][7]

2021[]

On 9 October, she reached 9,000 YouTube subscribers.[8]

On 10 October, Ichika got more attention from overseas audiences from a viral meme she made. The meme, posted in English on Twitter, poked fun at common VTuber anti complaints about exploiting fans for money and streaming with avatars that don't match the VTuber's IRL appearance. In it, she highlighted that her character model's breasts match her real-life cup size.[9] She also made a followup meme, highlighting that she doesn't run ads on her channel and that her channel membership is only ¥90 per month.[10]

On 2 December, Ichika had a hot spring singing stream where she was nude (she was censored) and ever since then she's been streaming in the nude.

Mascots and fans[]

Her mascot is Tako, an "avatar of knowledge" resembling a bunny rabbit who holds a taco in its right paw.[2]

Her fans are called "Tako Villagers", or "Villagers" for short.

Trivia[]

  • Her sister is Aozora Shinano, a PNGTuber who does pre-recorded and edited gameplay videos instead of streams. Ichika and Aozora have similar cup sizes and share the same illustrator.[11]
