FalseEyeD (False Eye Dee) is an independent VTuber who, along with his co-host's, Lae-Dee, Co-Dee and Hai-Dee, hosts the VTuber news show Things VTubers Say on YouTube and Twitch. He is sometimes seen with his iconic tv-headed model (False) and at other times using a more humanoid model (EyeD). He is known for his calm, measured method of delivering information about all kinds of events in the VTuber universe, and for being an outspoken advocate of the VTubers themselves, as well as the artists, animators, riggers, creators and production individuals who exist in the same space.

While initially his show was pre-recorded and edited alone, he currently does daily streams where he would interact with the viewers while reviewing news leads, recording and editing his videos. He also does Sunday streams on YouTube where he and Lae-Dee talk to guests about current events and experiences in the field of vtubing.

Personality[]

False talks about VTubers in a straight-forward way. At times goofy, he mostly sticks to straight talk when delivering the day-to-day news, but between stories he will engage in banter with the show's intern, EyeD (Played by himself). False always delivers enjoyable content, whether by inserting his own jokes or simply reporting verbatim on the tweets and streams of other content creators.

As of his "EyeD 2.0" model reveal on 5 February 2022, he's opted not to have "himself" as a co-host, instead simply choosing to have LaeDee cover a number of news topics instead. FalseEyeD's appearance during these streams is usually just the EyeD 2.0-model version.

Appearance[]

FalseEyeD has two different models. One, False, is a more traditional-looking robot model, complete with TV head and iconic face. The model is made of mixed and matched pieces of several original designs, giving him a "stuck together" look, while the purple, pink and magenta color scheme ties it all in.

His android model, EyeD, carries the same color scheme into a more humanoid form. He sports a very robotic pair of headphones and left arm, as well as a brightly colored jacket and sneakers. This jacket is removable, exposing two red straps on his shoulders.

Trivia[]

  • FalseEyeD makes it a point of pride to always do his best to provide accurate information, avoid speculation, and cite his sources. He's highly dedicated to ethical reporting practices, and this differentiates him from many other channels who report on Vtubers. It also is a demonstration that he has integrity both as a content creator and a fan of other Vtubers.
    • He's also shown that he's also not afraid to call out thieves plagiarizing Vtuber assets, and more recently, other channels who use unethical practices, though he usually censors out their names, both to avoid giving them undeserved publicity, and to deter his own viewers from attacking them.
  • He has claimed that Roboco-san is his oshi.
