Nene Amano (天野寧々, Amano Nene) is a female English Virtual YouTuber and a member of the English Virtual YouTuber agency Production Kawaii. She joined kawaii as part of the 1st Generation, along with Reina Sun, Hana Flores, Charlotte Suzu and Isla Coleman.
Nene's first language is Tenshi, but she also speaks Japanese fluently and English at a communicative level.
Her streaming content is diverse, and it includes such things as playing video games, free talks, ASMRs and karaoke.

An angel made up mostly sugar, a dash of spice, and a pinch of human! Spent years up in the clouds trying to figure out how to connect more with humans, and found vtubing! She wants to spread happiness and healing power through her streams![9]
Personality[]
Nene is a calm, kind and gentle girl, who is also good at listening to other people's problems and giving advice. Her personality is angelic and old-fashioned. She occasionally shows her nerdy side and may casually approve fans that share the same preference as her in anime, and games.
Appearance[]
Nene has the appearance of a normal girl. She wears a pink shirt with a heart cutout above her cleavage and white ribbons on her sleeves, a black suspender skirt with white wings on the back, white socks and red Mary Jane shoes. She has turquoise eyes. Her hair is black and long, it ends at the hip area, and has a small ahoge on the top of it. She has also a small white wing on each side of her head holding up hair loops. She has gold chain necklace with an oval charm with wings on it.

Background[]
The character design of Nene was unveiled on the 10th of March 2021 by her illustrator, Yukiunagi.[10] On the 19th of April, Nene twitted on her character account for the first time.[11] She debuted on the 28 April on YouTube.[9]
2021[]
On 29 April, Nene did her first video game stream, in which she played Grand Theft Auto V.[12]
On 16 July, Kawaii productions released a Nene Amano 20K Celebration Voice pack to celebrate her milestone of achieving 20k subscribers.
On 8 September, Nene reached 40,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[13]
On 28 October, Nene's 6 months anniversary.[14]
On 5 November, Nene reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 10 November, Nene reached 60,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[15]
On 18 December, she reached 10,000 followers on her Twitter account.[16]
On 21 December, she reached 70,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[17]
On 31 December, Nene reached 80,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
2022[]
On 10 January, Nene reached 90,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[18]
On 23 January, she announced that she would get her second 2D model and an update to her rigging.[19]
On 28 January, Nene debuted her second 2D costume. In this costume Nene got a model update including some new facial expressions such as having heart shaped and surprised pupils and stick her tongue out a little. She got two new hairstyles using twintails, one has small low twintails while the second has long twintails in both variants the side hair lock turn outwards, in the left lock she retains one of the small angel wing hairpins that she uses in her first outfit. Nene wears a nun outfit, the outfit has a white neck with a thin black lace this piece seems to be adjusted to her dress by white straps. She retains the same necklace as her original appearance.
Her outfit is a black shoulderless dress, with a big cleavage with a white outline, the dress has eight golden bottoms in pairs of four that are parallel to the white straps used to maintain the neck in place, the straps are adjusted to two white diamond shaped cloth around her belly area, the lower end of these diamonds are decorated with golden eight pointed stars, under these the dress opens leaving the middle section of her dress separated from the sides, the middle section is decorated by a big eight pointed star with small dots around the diagonal sides and two five pointed stars near the corners of this section, the openings at the sides leave her thighs exposed revealing that Nene wears two pairs of white leg belts, with long white socks with black four pointed stars in the ankles and black shoes. Additionally, Nene wears a veil on top of her head with small angel's wings decorations at each side of her head and a halo. Concept illustration shows that the dress has a small white bow in the lower back.[20]
On 31 January, Nene reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, making her the first member of kawaii to reach this milestone.[21]
On 7 August, she revealed the outfit design of her 3D model.[22]
On 10 October, she re-debuted with an upgraded model, showcasing new rigging, a casual outfit inspired by her original design, and new hairstyles. The upgraded model also combined all existing outfits into one package, providing seamless transitions between outfits and numerous new combinations.[23]
On 10 November, her Twitter account got verified.[24]
2023[]
On 21 January, Nene debuted her 3D idol model.[25] On the same day, Nene along with the first and the second generation released their original song "Forever Bloom."
On 12 February, she debuted her 3D chibi model.[26]
On 16 February, she reached 200,000 subscribers during a 200k karaoke stream.[27]
On 25 March, she debuted her third outfit, [28] featuring a goddess theme that includes a white leotard with a toggleable hood, flappy head wings, and three new unique hairstyles: a side braid, long hair, and short hair.
On 22 April, she released her first original song "Touching Clouds."
On 1 July, she participated in the irl live concert "Forever Bloom"(the first 3D VTuber concert in the USA) held at the El Rey Theatre, in Los Angeles California.
On 9 September, she held her first solo live concert, “Heavenly Escape,” where she debuted her second 3D Idol outfit.[29]The concert featured 15 songs, with three of them available for free on her YouTube channel. The outfit comes in two variations: the standard version, which includes a long ponytail held up by a ribbon, and the alternate version, affectionately dubbed 'Nene-Hime,' featuring a tiara and long hair flowing freely down to her ankles. Notably, this is the first outfit to include her second idol color, a light purple.
On 21 October, she released her second original song "DOGEZA."
On 29 October, she began simulcasting on Twitch.[30]
On 15 November, she was accepted into the Twitch Affiliate Program.[31]
On 25 November, she debuted her fourth outfit,[32] this time with a Miko theme. This new attire introduces two additional hairstyles, along with toggleable cow ears and a new dizzy eye expression. The first hairstyle features pigtails with buns and bangs that part in the middle, revealing a glimpse of her forehead for the first time. The second hairstyle features long hair and bangs that hide one of her eyes; this style introduces a second lighter shade of blue alongside her traditional dark desaturated blue hair color. This outfit is interchangeable with her first two outfits, allowing for a multitude of new fashion combinations.
On 15 December, she debuted the second outfit for her 3D chibi model.[33]
On 16 December, she released her third original song “DEVOTION.”
2024[]
On 13 February, she was accepted into the Twitch Partner Program. [34]
On 16 February, she released her fourth original song “Friday Night”
On 5 April, Nene reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[35]

- Her favourite animes are Vinland Saga, Fate/Zero, Steins;Gate and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.[9]

- Her favourite video games are Dragon Age, Final Fantasy X, Umineko and Fate/Stay Night.[9]
- Nene is good friends with PRISM Project's Rikudou Yura; she received some attention by the community, especially Yura's fanbase, after several collaborations and Twitter interactions with Yura.
- Despite her Japanese name, it is always officially written in Western order in English. Nene will introduce herself in Eastern order when speaking in Japanese, as it is then written as 天野寧々.
