Gilzaren III (ギルザレン) is a male Japanese Virtual YouTuber and a member of NIJISANJI's second generation alongside Ienaga Mugi, Mononobe Alice, Kenmochi Toya, Morinaka Kazaki, Fushimi Gaku, Suzuka Utako, Fumino Tamaki, Ushimi Ichigo, and Yuhi Riri.

Profile[]
A 4000 year old vampire who lives in a luxurious castle deep in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. He has a high status among his own people and is pompous and overbearing in his language and behaviour towards others. On the other hand, however, deep down he is weak and has a clumsy side that blatantly panics when someone carelessly approaches him.[1]

He has light purple skin with spiked white hair and red eyes.
History[]
Following the popularity of their "Official NIJISANJI Virtual Livers," Ichikara Inc. opened a second set of auditions on 22 February 2018, featuring Gilzaren as one of the available designs.[2] On 15 March, Ichikara Inc. formally revealed their second generation of Virtual Livers, introducing them as members of the group "NIJISANJI.[3]
2018[]
On 1 September, Gilzaren reached 30,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[4]
2019[]
On 5 September, Gilzaren reached 40,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[5]
On 23 December, Gilzaren reached 50,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[6]
2020[]
On 13 July, Gilzaren reached 60,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[7]
On 23 October, Gilzaren reached 70,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[8]
2021[]
On 21 January, Gilzaren reached 80,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[9]
On 30 April, Gilzaren reached 90,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[10]
On 1 May, Gilzaren reached 100,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[11]
On 23 December, Gilzaren reached 110,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[12]
2022[]
On 28 February, Gilzaren had a sudden stream after more than a year passed since his last one, resulting the keyword "ギル様配信" (Gil-sama haishin, Gil-sama livestream) and "テスト配信" (tesuto haishin, livestream test) made it to Japan's Twitter trending rank, peaking at 6th and 7th place sequentially. Guests who made an appearance on his stream were Tsukino Mito, Mayuzumi Kai, Mononobe Alice, Fuwa Minato, Bonnivier Pranaja, Petra Gurin, Sister Claire, Amemori Sayo, Lize Helesta, Fumino Tamaki, Peanuts-kun, Suo Sango, and Akabane Youko. The stream lasted for 1 hour 40 minutes, peaking at 22,902 total viewers.[13] Including this stream, he currently has 34 archived videos on his channel since his debut.
On 1 March, Gilzaren reached 120,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[14]
On 17 August, Gilzaren reached 130,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[15]
On 29 December, Gilzaren made a surprised 3D appearance on "NIJISANJI Unit Music Festival 2022" and made it into Japan's Twitter trending rank, peaking at 2nd place.

- Gilzare's stream output is very inconsistent and usually only streams once every few months. Despite this, his viewer turnout is usually quite high in comparison to his subscriber count. As of 4 January 2023, he has only streamed 31 times (34 archived videos in total) since his debut.
- Gilzaren is known for being a big fan of VTubers and lurking/commenting in chats, as well as updating his music playlists, which are filled with VTuber-related music. However, as he is slightly inactive when it comes to streaming it has become a running joke for VTubers that see him in chat to tell him to stream more.
