Freya Kumamori (熊守フレイヤ) is a German independent VTuber mainly streaming on Twitch and in English although she has done German collabs in the past.

Profile[]
Being a spiritbear in human form, not much is known about Freyas lore. She stated that she started streaming as a way to cope with her video game backlog, however given that she has since then also taken a liking to karaoke streams with there usually being at least one or two songs being sung per stream and a decent chance of any given stream spontaneously turning into a karaoke stream.
While she can be seen playing a variety of different games she does gravitate towards more obscure and niche games. She can speak both German (first language) and English (main stream language) fluently and furthermore is able to speak and understand basic Japanese.[1]
Personality[]
Freya is mostly calm and quite straight forward but carrying. She can however also be quite determined and strong willed when trying to achieve a goal. She does not rage easily as long as games are difficult on purpose, stating that she strongly dislikes people getting angry at difficult games since it's not the game's fault that you don't succeed. She can however become quite frustrated if games are buggy or have bad controls which can often lead to her switching back to German to express her displeasure.

She has long, slightly wavy blonde hair with eyebrows that are a slightly darker shade and brown eyes and bear ears.
History[]
2021[]
Freya debuted on 29 May 2021 on YouTube.[1]
She switched from streaming on YouTube to streaming on Twitch with her first Twitch stream being on August 20th.[2]
At the 27th of February Freya did an Edgelord Karaoke stream to celebrate her 1000 followers.[3][4]
2022[]
For her 1 year anniversary Freya did a donathon with all donations going to the Bärenwalt Müritz.[5] This was Freyas first donathon and the final donation goal of 1000 € was reached with in the first 2 hours. During the donathon she revealed a new 2D outfit and her first original song The Captives Fate and new items for the merch store and T-shirts to celebrate the release of the original song.
2024[]
On the 10th of May Freya managed to become twitch partner.[6]

- Freya enjoys quiet mornings, hiking, reading books and foraging.
- Her favourite foods include: Curry Rice, Black Forest Cake and Fish.
- Freya dislikes earwigs, overly sweet food, carbonated water, zucchini and pudding skin.[1]
Miscellaneous[]
- Freya's name Ku-ma-mori is a play on words with Kuma meaning bear and Mamori meaning to protect.[1]
- Freya is known to like salt a lot which has lead to her nomming down on her mothers salt lamp as a child.[7]
- Freya screamed so loud during a Silent Hill stream that she made a viewers dog pee itself.[8]
