She is a shrine maiden VTuber who works at a shrine where the sound of wind chimes echo through the air.

She has blonde hair in the osage (futatsu musubi variant) low twintails hairstyle and eyes with light red irises.
On her main design, she has an aqua blue hair accessory with two dark blue tassels and a light teal fabric hanging from it, on the left side of her hair. On her body, she wears a kimono-style blue and pink dress, tied at the waist by an aqua blue obi belt. On her arms are detached, blue and pink cherry blossom-patterned, flowing kimono-style sleeves that's light yellow on the inside. The sleeves each have a glass wind chime hanging at the bottom. On her legs are a pair of white thigh high kneesocks held up by white garters. Her left calf is adorned with a teal ribbon. On her feet are a pair of black geta sandals with pink straps.

She opened her Twitter account in December of 2018 while her YouTube channel was created on 26 December 2018. On 22 May 2019, she announced the schedule for her upcoming debut on the 26th.[1]
2019[]
On 26 May, she held her first stream on YouTube.[2]
2020[]
On 19 April, she debuted her new 2D costume.
On 26 November, she premiered her first original song, 夕に風鈴 (Wind Chimes in the Evening).
2021[]
On 28 August, Rin's duet with Sakura Aoi, a cover of the song "Mr.VIRTUALIZER" by HIMEHINA, premiered on Aoi's channel.
On 26 May, she celebrated her 2nd anniversary by debuting her 3D model.[3][4]
On 10 November, she debuted her 2.0 2D model along with a new hairstyle.
On 2 December, she formed an idol unit called Fleur de fruits (ふるふりゅ) together with Amato Riri and Futaba Nanase.
2023[]
On 4 April, the utaite & VSinger group SiSter PRintemps or SisPra (しすぷら) for short, started its activities with Rin as one of its four members. Rin is the "blue representative" of the group.[5]
On 9 December, Propro Production announced that Rin would be joining the agency.[6]
On 13 December, Rin held her redebut stream as a member of the main Propro Production group, where she unveiled a new outfit.[7] She later became part of the agency's (unofficial) fourth generation named "Nan4" (なん4) along with Nekomiya Fuyu, Hoshino Miyako and Sakura Nagomi.
2024[]
On 1 April, Propro announced that all of its talents with the exception of Koinoya Mai, will graduate from the agency. Rin, Kaduki Mikuru, Hoshino Miyako and Sakura Nagomi will become independent on 26 April, while Ikoi Momoa and Hinotori Mera will become independent at the end of June. On the other hand, Nekomiya Fuyu, Amanohoshi Chiroru, Shirose Aoi, and Sakuya Azusa will retire.[8]
On 21 April, Rin and the remaining members of Propro held a graduation ceremony collaboration stream on Hinotori Mera's channel.[9] On the same day, Mera uploaded the collaboration MV sung by Amanohoshi Chiroru and Kaduki Mikuru (Gen 1), Koinoya Mai, Shirose Aoi, Sakuya Azusa and Ikoi Momoa (Gen 2), Hinotori Mera (Gen 3) and Rin, Hoshino Miyako, Sakura Nagomi and Nekomiya Fuyu (Gen 4): a cover of Tabidachi no Hi ni (旅たちの日に, On the day of departure), a popular Japanese school graduation song, on her channel.
On 26 May, she celebrated her 5th anniversary, her last non-member stream before she goes on hiatus.[10]
On 30 June, she premiered her cover of １・２・３ by After the Rain (Soraru & Mafumafu).
On 1 July, she premiered her cover of Totemo Suteki na Rokugatsu Deshita (とても素敵な六月でした) by Eight feat. Hatsune Miku.
2025[]
On 14 February, Rin's duet with Sakura Aoi, a cover of the song Nee Nee Nee. (ねぇねぇねぇ。) by PinocchioP feat. Kagamine Rin and Hatsune Miku, premiered on Aoi's channel.
On 27 May, she returned to streaming from a 1-year hiatus with a talk stream on YouTube.[11]
