Glitch Stars is a US-based Vtuber talent agency founded in 2024. They are a Vtuber agency that allows talents to keep their IP.

2024[]

On 17 May, the official Glitch Stars EN Twitter account announced that they would soon be debuting their first Generation of talents; They were stated to be a group of 3 girls entering the company with their pre-existing IP. They were revealed to be debuting on the 8th of the following month, with auditions for future Gens opening soon after. [2] Later that day, they revealed Gen 1's name to be 'Virus.'

On 7 June, it was announced that the Gen 1 debut date would be pushed to the following week due to illness. They also stated that a teaser trailer would be dropping later that night. [3] The trailer was released, teasing silhouettes and details for the talents' designs. [4] Their new scheduled debut date was June 14.

On 12 June, and the following days leading up to debut, multiple watch-along streams were announced, including Virus talents Leah Asimov and Miwabelle themselves.

On 14 June, all three members of Gen 1 'Virus' held their debuts. The members were revealed to be Leah Asimov, AkuMeowie, and Miwabelle.

On 22 June, Virus held their first official collab. They played Raft.

On 16 July, Glitch Stars announced they would be opening auditions for Gen 2 the following day. [5]

On 17 July, Gen 2 auditions opened, and would run for two weeks, closing on July 31. The form stated they would be considering 2-4 people for either Gen 2 or 3. [6] They could either keep previous their IP,[7] or debut under a new persona with assistance from the agency, but would either way be able to keep the IP upon exiting the company. [8]

On 25 November, Glitch Stars announced that AkuMeowie would not be renewing her contract, and would instead transfer to Glitch Stars' sister company, Glitch Partnership Network. [9] The company replied under the announcement post, stating that more details on the partnership network would be explained in the future.

On 15 December, Glitch Stars celebrated Gen 1's 6 month anniversary, and announced Majokko Meimi would be joining as new "DLC" (a later addition to an existing generation) [10] member of Gen 1 Virus. Meimi retains ownership of her individual IP.

2025[]

On 2 February, Glitch Stars debuted vtuber Stimpak as a 'Manager Talent' who would be taking over from DuelLogs in terms of public facing announcements and event hosting. [11]

On 12 February, Glitch Stars announced their next Gen, "Dreamers," which consisted of Hiiragi Emuri, Nova Aokami, SunnySplosion, and Mogu. Their debut was set for 15 February. They all retain ownership of their individual IP's, and have varying contracts depending on their needs. [12] Meimi stated in her reply that Dreamers "isn't Gen 2" and they would no longer be doing numbered Gen's. [13]

On 2 March, Yuurei Riri announced they are working with Glitch Stars as the manager of Dreamers. [14]

On 21 March, a new wave, Outbreak has been announced and debuted on 28 March. [15]

On 7 June, Kanna Yanagi was announced as a new talent of Glitch Stars.
