Hanetan (ハネたん) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber. She produced video-only content using voice synthesis starting on Japanese video site Niconico in 2015, opening a YouTube channel.
In 2021 the creator took an indefinite hiatus from VTubing to work in on the Hanetan manga, titled Magic Circle Heart".

2015[]
On 12 June, Hanetan posted her first video, part 1 of a Mario Kart 8 playthrough series, to Japanese site Niconico.
2016[]
On 27 Oct 2016, the Hanetan YouTube channel was created.
On 3 December, Hanetan posted part 1 of a Pokémon Moon playthrough, which is her oldest known YouTube video.
2021[]
On 12 June she posted part one of her original manga, Magic Circle Heart ~Angel's Holiday Edition~.[1]
Retirement[]
On 14 August, she posted a video titled [FINAL] Traveling the world with a high-tension girl named Hanten! [Mario Odyssey: Beautiful Girl Original Characters and Slowly Playing Live! Satou Sasara]. As of 2025, this is the last available video on her channel.
Following this, she continued to post Magic Circle Heart videos up to part 5 on 2 October, but the videos for parts 2 to 5 were later privated. Hanetan effectively retired as a VTuber while the author drew the manga.

- The English name of her TV channel is "Best beautiful girl HaneTan TV".
- To Japanese users, it instead reads "ハネたん魔法陣Heart TV【引退】「チャンネル概要欄ご覧ください】", meaning "Hane-tan Magic Circle Heart TV (retired) (please view channel description)".
- The original Japanese name was "超絶最強天才美少女ハネたん", meaning "Supremely strongest genius beautiful girl Hane-tan".
- Her Twitter username is "omuraisu" (omelette rice) backwards.
