Hayate Takanashi (高梨ハヤテ, Takanashi Hayate) is an independent female/pear (babiniku) Japanese/English-speaking Virtual YouTuber, who debuted in November 2020.
Other than playing video games, she has made radio talk streams, chatting streams with viewers, Japanese language lessons, travelogues, cooking streams, karaoke streams, drawing streams (sometimes with viewers, such as in Sketchful.io, Magical Draw, and Gartic Phone), and exploring worlds in Cluster (metaverse app) with viewers, among others.
She has also occasionally done various unique streams, such as purchasing land from the moon, punching on stream for 6,000 seconds, singing HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA 128 times in a row, cooking a dish recipe written in a foreign language, and reviewing audience-submitted entries.
She began focusing on cooking streams at some point, which includes her ongoing series of VTuber icing cookie making streams, latte art, and trying foreign recipes for the first time on stream.

Hayate 3.0[]
Hayate's 3.0 model is an updated version of her 1.0 and 2.0 model, carrying over most of their base elements into the updated design.
Hayate has green-blue short hair with blunt bangs and wears a dark blue hairband with two flower hair pins. She has aquamarine colored-eyes, and GOOD sized booba. She wears a white open shoulder dress with dark blue, gold, and blue marine highlights, a blue ribbon with golden pear flower pin, a red-brown skirt with pear flowers on it, dark blue tights with four point stars lining the left and right sides, and brown shoes.
Hayate 4.0[]
Hayate's hair color changed from the usual green-blue into a light pink with green-blue highlights. Her hair is also longer and in twintails style. With the exception of her knee-high socks, she now wears an all-black outfit with pink and green-blue colors serving as highlights. She wears a black removable jacket, a black, sleeveless blouse paired with a black skirt with a black belt, as well as black arm sleeves, black shoes, a black arm band on her left arm, and black ribbon on her hair.

On 13 November she made her first gaming video.
On 29 November, she made her debut livestream.

2021[]
On 16 January, she celebrated reaching 5,000 subscribers on YouTube.
On 30 January, she held her first karaoke stream.
On 14 February, she held her first cooking stream. She made apple tart.
On 27 February, she opened monetization on her YouTube channel[2]
On 7 March, she celebrated reaching 6,000 subscribers on YouTube by punching on stream for 6,000 seconds (1 hour 40 minutes).
On 7 March, Hayate model 2.0 was revealed.
On 20 March, she held her first travelogue stream. She walked around Akihabara.
On 28 March, she celebrated reaching 7,000 subscribers on YouTube with a Resident Evil 7 endurance streaming.
On 18 April, she celebrated reaching 8,000 subscribers on YouTube with a Rhythm Heaven Fever endurance streaming.
On 30 April, she celebrated reaching 9,000 subscribers on YouTube with a Takoyaki Party stream.
On 19 June, she made her first VTuber lunchbox. It was a lunchbox themed after Hololive member Takanashi Kiara (no relation).
On 26 June, she celebrated reaching 10,000 subscribers on YouTube by streaming from real onsen (hot spring).
On 14 August, she sang HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA 128 times in a row.
On 21 August, she celebrated reaching 13,000 subscribers on YouTube. She made pancakes for viewers.
On 25 August, she held the first stream to feature a live camera. It was an origami stream.
On 9 September, she got a score 840 on TOEIC (official English exam).
On 28 September, she held her first cooking stream to feature a live camera. She cooked foil-baked buttered salmon and mushrooms.
On 3 October, she held her first icing cookie stream.
On 31 October, she celebrated reaching 15,000 subscribers on YouTube with a homemade ramen endurance stream..
On 11 November, she held her 1st Anniversary celebration. She received a beautiful cake with fruits on them. She did a bit of karaoke, reviewed some fanarts, and read messages from fans.
On 19 December, she celebrated reaching 16,000 subscribers on YouTube by meeting fans in Cluster 3D world.
2022[]
On 11 January, Hayate model 3.0 was revealed.[3]
On 16 January, she held her first latte art stream. Though she failed the first time, she would eventually succeed in the next stream and it would become an ongoing series.
On 13 March, she celebrated reaching 18,000 subscribers on YouTube by meeting fans in Cluster 3D world, and visited her fan-made world.
On 1 May, she ran a 20 km marathon in Ring Fit Adventure, during which she reached 20,000 subscribers on YouTube. She celebrated by making nasi tumpang.
On 16 June, she celebrated reaching 21,000 subscribers on YouTube by meeting fans in Cluster 3D world and visited her new fan-made world.
On 14 July, she launched an ongoing series called "Drawing Hololive Members but on COOKIES AtoZ", where she draws VTubers using icing on cookies.
On 11 November, she held a 2nd Anniversary countdown and celebration. During the countdown, she did a tier list of all the food she has made on stream, read messages from fans, and did a karaoke. She celebrated by meeting fans in Cluster 3D world and revisited her fan-made world.
On 3 December, on a membership stream, she played a Japanese horror game called The Bathhouse. Hayate appears in one of the Ema (hanging wooden plaques) in the game.
On 19 December, she collaborated with Kureiji Ollie in a cooking stream where Hayate tries to cook dishes from a menu that Ollie created.
2023[]
On 18 March, she collaborated with Nikki Rei in a ramen cooking stream.
On 11 May, for a 2.5th Anniversary celebration, she met fans in Cluster 3D world.
On 4 June, she celebrated having 500 videos on YouTube by doing a review of her old videos and streams.
On 1 August, she did a travelogue stream about her time at Hololive City in Tokyo.
On 3 November, she held a 3rd Anniversary celebration. She did a subathon stream where she read messages from her fans, played Geoguessr, cooked carbonara, and played Gartic.io with her viewers.
2024[]
On 4 June, she shared her travel stories in Spain and Italy on a travelogue stream.
On 6 August, she collaborated with Iku Hoshifuri in a cooking stream where she cooked sukiyaki.
2025[]
In January, Hayate took a break from streaming for the entire month, having moved to a new house and preparing new set ups for her streaming and cooking equipment.
On 11 February, Hayate resumed streaming activities with a cooking stream. At the end of the stream, Hayate announced her 4.0 model by niyori, originally scheduled for March, although it would later be rescheduled for April.
On 8 April, Hayate debuted her 4.0 model, which had a hair color that deviated from her classic hair color. She also changed her channel's name to Hayate Kitchen.[4]
On 22 April, she reached 31,000 subscribers on YouTube.
On 27 May, Hayate collaborated with YouTube channel Muse Indonesia, where she cooked a large hamburger steak on Muse Indonesia's livestream.[5] The food is based on the hamburger steak shown in the anime Frieren.[6]
