hello, world is a series of live concerts held by Virtual YouTuber and VSinger Kizuna AI from 2018 to 2022. The concerts featured Kizuna AI performing her electronic dance/pop music along with other Japanese artists in the same genres. The "last" hello, world edition was held on 26 February 2022 on YouTube Live.

There have been three hello, world concerts, with the final one conceding with Kizuna AI going on indefinite hiatus in 2022.

1st Live[]

Kizuna AI 1st Live "hello world" was a physical live concert that took place at the Tokyo Zepp DiverCity (capacity: 2,473 people) and Zepp Osaka Bayside (capacity: 2,801 people) music halls in Japan. The event was also livestreamed on NicoNico. The concert featured a live audience with Kizuna Ai performing on stage through a screen, both solo and with guest DJs.[1][4][5]
Special guests for Tokyo included mouse, sasakure.UK, Nor, Taku Takahashi from m-Flo, and MATZ. Special guests for Osaka included TeddyLoid, Avec Avec, and Pa's Lam System. Yunomi was a special guest for both dates.[1]
The 1st Live is available to stream officially on Crunchyroll.[6] The concert being added to Crunchyroll was announced during the service's industry panel at Crunchyroll Expo 2019, where AI was featured as a special guest.[7][8]
2nd Live[]

hello, world 2020 After Movie, featuring behind-the-scenes of the production of the live concert and AI performing with real world and virtual guests including KAF.
Kizuna AI 2nd Live "hello, world 2020" was a virtual xR (extended reality) concert, streamed for free on YouTube, bilibili, U-NEXT, TikTok, and Oculus Venues. The augmented reality concert featured Kizuna AI performing with both virtual and real guests on a real world set with digital stage effects.
The concert was postponed due to technical difficulties on its original date, 29 December 2020.[9] On 15 January 2021, the new date of 23 January 2021 was announced.[10]
Special guests included TeddyLoid, DÉ DÉ MOUSE, and Virtual Yasutaka Nakata, as well as VSinger KAF,
The event also featured a China exclusive afterparty stream, hello, world After Party on the sunset beach!, streamed on Bilibili.[2]
Last Live[]
Kizuna AI the Last Live "hello, world 2022" was held on 26 February 2022. It was streamed live on YouTube worldwide, as well as U-NEXT, Bilibili, and Horizon Venues on Oculus Quest (formerly Oculus Venues).
U-NEXT, Bilibili, and Horizon Venues hosted their own respective pre-events.[11]
- On 19 February, Bilibili streamed AI performing songs with a jazz piano arrangement "on a special stage with an adult atmosphere. Inuyama Tamaki also hosted a special talk segment. "Kizuna Post" messages submitted by Bilibili users were also read during the stream.
- On 24 February, U-NEXT streamed an acoustic mini live concert with AI at a beach bonfire. Pianist Manamaru was a special guest. The event will also featured "a talk corner where you can shout out to the sea", with pre-submitted user messages based around the theme "things I want to shout to Kizuna Ai".
- On 25 February, Horizon Events streamed rehearsals from the event stage as a preview with AI, Love-chan, and Dela.
Additionally, on the day of hello world, 2022, Love-chan and Tomari Mari had a U-NEXT exclusive audio-only commentary of their live reactions to the performance.
On 4 December 2021, Kizuna AI and Kizuna AI Inc. announced that AI would be taking an indefinite hiatus after the hello, world 2022 concert "to update future activities with the goal of further developing Kizuna AI".[12]
On 18 December, the first round of sponsors were announced, including virtual livestreaming application REALITY, home furnishing and houseware company Sanipak Co of Japan Ltd. and video game video and audio middleware company CRI Middleware.[13]
On 27 December 2021, Kizuna AI Inc. opened applications for performers and participants with 3D and Live2D avatars for the main part of the live performance. They accepted applications from "VTubers and those active in the virtual space and interested in virtual activities". Those who wanted to participate but didn't have a 3D avatar were encouraged to apply using REALITY.[14][15]
On 26 January, a Ubgoe crowdfunding campaign for the concert (production, management, and advertisement and its Blu-Ray release started. It reached its goal of 3,000,000 yen in only 3 minutes. As of 11 February, it reached 25,061,957 yen from 1,226 supporters, 835% of its goal. On 12 February, the campaign reached 30,002,588 yen, 1,000% of its goal. Stretch goals include digital signage advertisements in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya and the inclusion of live footage from the Virtual Fireworks Concert on the Last Live blu-ray.[16][17][18]
On 10 February 2021, it was announced that 1,809 virtual talent guest performers out of 6,597 applications would be featured in the concert. Participants from REALITY were treated separate from this count, but were also announced as participating. Due to the amount of applications, those participating were selected "as a result of a strict lottery".[19][17]
On 2 February, submissions were opened for voice recordings to be used for crowd noises during the concert.[20]
