HoshiLive (a.k.a. HoshiLive Productions) was a VTuber production and management group founded on August 8th, 2020 under CreatLive LLC.

Origins[]

The founders of HoshiLive (known as the "Founding Fathers") were Mark Sangurima (CEO and Co-Founder), Paul Garcia (Secretary & Co-Founder), and Bruce Jarama (Treasurer & Co-Founder). HoshiLive's parent company, CreatLive LLC, was founded on June 16, 2020, and is an American LLC.[1]

Closure[]

On 21 September 2022, HoshiLive released a statement announcing the closing of the company at the end of the month. They thanked everyone for their support throughout the company's life and stated that all members would become independent after the company's closure.[2] In addition, they put up for sale the Live2D model and assets for Sylvia Soleil, a supposed member whose original actor had fallen out of contact with company, and thus had been abandoned.[3]

Talent[]

HoshiLive members were Mia Hana, Elora Eden, Nova Ayumu, Mei-en Astraphel and Duo Leveling. Since HoshiLive's disbanding, all members have gone independent, with some rebranding.

Generations[]

  1. Generation 2020: Nova Ayumu
  2. Generation 2021: Mia Hana and Elora Eden
  3. Generation 2022: Mei-en Astraphel and Duo Leveling

HoshiLive talent generations are marked by year of debut, rather than by chronological group number.[4] For example, all talent who debuted in 2021 are referred to as "Generation 2021", rather than "Gen 2".
