On 2 February, Iora uploaded her ENVtuber Introduction Video
On 20 February, Iora formally debuted with her Vtuber Debut Stream
2022[]
On 27 February, after announcing via her Twitter account, Hotaru Iora performed a final Karaoke stream, and after that has gone on an indefinite hiatus to solve personal issues.
2023[]
Retirement[]
On 7 April, VReverie announced Iora's immediate graduation, stating that she wishes to pursue her own goals and interests. Existing content on her YouTube channel and social accounts will remain publicly available.[1]
On 3 December 2024, day of VReverie's closure, an independent VTuber, Valentine, claimed she was Hotaru Iora. According to her version of the facts, she graduated because of personal reasons, but her agency made the strange decision to reserve the right of "when" to announce it. Instead of announcing it immediately, they put her officially in "hiatus", until the graduation announcement was finally made.
