Hunger (暴食 Bàoshí) is a Chinese male Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) from VirtuaReal fifteenth generation (aka 157) alongside Uka, Keke and Yog.

If you know a demon’s true name, then you can exorcise it more easily, so "Hunger" is merely a codename for this high-level demon who is the most adept eater in the demon world. The search for more novel and delicious foods is Hunger’s most important activity. Even though he has the ability to swallow the entire world in one mouthful, from where to start eating is still an insignificant choice that must be made. In order to solve this question, he found a female fortune-teller.

"Based on the outcome of my prophecy, you should go eastwards to seek a place called VirtuaReal. However my prophecy… You wait a second and hear me finish speaking!"
Hunger didn’t pay attention to the latter half of the fortune-teller's sentence. All he needed was a name, other minor details were basically insignificant. But the moment before he put the VR building down his mouth, a young woman with black double ponytails stopped his bad behaviour. After going through some friendly negotiation, Hunger at last joined VR. Without waiting for him to inquire what he should do next, the young woman had already vanished. He seemed to have heard her say, "This demon is a little too strong, we must find a hero to check and balance him."[7]

On 24 September 2021, the upcoming Livers were teased with an image of their silhouettes on the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts.
On 25 September 2021, VirtuaReal officially announced their fifteenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Hunger, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Hunger made his first dynamic and released his first video, a self-introduction, on the same day.
On 2 October 2021, VirtuaReal released a teaser trailer for their new Livers.
Debut[]
On 4 October 2021, the fifteenth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili lasting from 19:00 CST to 23:00 CST, Hunger being the third.[8]
Later on 19 October 2021, a video of their debut streams highlights presented by Kyouka from Overidea was released on bilibili's official virtual streamer channel.
2022[]
On 12 March, Hunger's White Day merchandise was announced.[9]
On 5 August, Hunger's talent profile was added to the NIJISANJI official website along with the rest of 157 as well as 167, despite it being 10 months since his debut.
On 8 September, Hunger's 2022 Mid-Autumn voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 25 September.[10]
On 7 October, Hunger reached 10,000 subscribers on bilibili.[11]
On 24 November, a clip of Hunger repeatedly misspeaking the name Pokémon Scarlet/Violet went mildly viral (118k views as of today),[12]
2023[]
On 21 June, Hunger participated in VirtuaReal's VR-Cup Calabiyau tournament with teammates Chiharu, Sybil, Ameki, Hatsuse.[13]
