History

Background

hololive DEV_IS was initially teased during the conclusion of hololive's SPLASH PARTY! Night concert with a short video on 27 August 2023. The teaser was also shared later that day on both hololive's Twitter account and hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel on 27 August 2023.[2] The channel itself was created on 21 August.

On 29 August 2023, following the YouTube channel released short videos of the members in a countdown leading to the project's reveal, Ririka's teaser was the third featuring a solo member of the group. Her teaser was released on 30 August.[3]

On 4 September, after finishing the countdown, hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel introduced the group ReGLOSS along with the music video "Shunkan Heartbeat" revealing the identities of all its members as well as their channels and social media accounts.[4] Ririka also made her first tweet on this date.[5] Ririka's teaser video from hololive DEV_IS channel was also uploaded to her personal channel, now fully displaying her face.[6]

Ririka's YouTube channel was created on 21 July 2023, and her Twitter account was also created on this month.

On 7 September, hololive DEV_IS's YouTube channel uploaded another video this time showing ReGLOSS' members actual models and appearances outside of their unified group clothes.[7]

She debuted on 9 September 2023 and was the third one to have a debut stream.[8] After the stream, she released her first solo cover song "KING" by Kanaria.

2023

On 10 September, she reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[9]

On 27 September, Ririka celebrated her YouTube channel monetization and enabled Super Chat feature.[10]

On 10 October, Ririka had her first collaboration cover along with ReGLOSS, the song "REALiZE" by LiSA.

On 21 October, she opened her YouTube membership feature.[11]

On 14 November, she reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[12]

2024

On 1 February, Ririka reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a False Dream stream.[13]

On 21 May, Ririka reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.[14]

On 7 June, holo Indie's Twitter account announced that Ririka would become an ambassador for holo Indie.[15]

On 30 August, Ririka reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a karaoke endurance stream, making her the 64th hololive member and also the 4th -ReGLOSS- member to reach the milestone.[16][17]

On 9 September, Ririka debuted her first original song "Kyoumodaitensai!"

On 10 September, during ReGLOSS first anniversary, they announced their first 3D live "Reach the top", released their first group album "ReGLOSS" and their new original song "feelingradation."[18] hololive DEV_IS also opened membership feature on its YouTube channel.

On 28 September, during the "Reach the Top" 3D Live, ReGLOSS debuted their 3D models. Two different costumes were revealed, their group uniforms and later their default outfits.[19]

On 30 December, she reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.[20]

2025

On 10 January, Ririka and other members of -ReGLOSS- debuted their 3D black sport tracksuit costumes.[21]

  • From 11 - 13, 15, 18, 21 and 23 December 2023, Ririka was invited to join and participated in the Vaultroom x Crazy Raccoon (VCR) GTA Season 2 event server.[22] She joined the pizzeria run by Arurandeisu, as pizzeria staff (known in English as the "Pizza Family").[23] Her uniform color was pink.
  • On 9 December 2024, SWEETS PARADISE announced a collaboration café with -ReGLOSS-, featuring limited menus and merchandise. The collaboration would be available from 4 February 2025 to 16 March 2025 at 3 SWEETS PARADISE stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.[24][25]
  • On 11 April 2025, Level 5 Games' Inazuma Eleven V Heroes Showcase stream revealed that Ririka would be voicing the role of playable character Amelia Rainwalker in the upcoming video game Inazuma Eleven Victory Road.[26]
