Imi (伊深/Yī shēn) was a female Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with VirtuaReal, under VirtuaReal Project, as part of its eleventh generation, also known as "RénWàiTiānGuó" (人外天国) alongside Tanoshiba, Mari and Chiyuu.

Every person more or less will have met some chap addicted to books like their life depended on it, but diligently and tirelessly carrying a book every day is rare to see, yet in VR University’s library is such an exception; a peculiar girl that always makes others wonder if she will suddenly faint. In this library’s borrowing area is always sitting a girl flipping through obscure books, the ravenous look in her eyes and an unyielding gloomy chill surrounding her body making the other students withdraw from her; so much so that someone secretly whispered if she could be an earthbound library spirit or the like that hadn’t been banished. But she does not belong to the category of that sort of typical paranormal, for her degree of bizarreness eventually attracted the gaze of that adult.
“I wonder if you are too inefficient like this? Isn’t there a cost for borrowing books? Since you enjoy acquiring knowledge so much, how about communicating with other people instead? Your fantastical tale about a lingering butterfly who has lived for hundreds and thousands of years may be especially attractive to people.” On a certain day, the black-haired twin-tailed headteacher sitting opposite spoke thus.
Hence, she who silently put down her book, tilted her head to look at the adult headteacher, ultimately swallowed back the “no” that she wanted to say.[2][1]

She has long, dark brown hair in low twin tails and round glasses with pink eyes. She has a pink beret with pink bow and black striped ribbon and a pink winged butterfly hair accessory that has multiple upside down hearts attached.

On 5 December 2020, the upcoming Livers were teased on the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts with an image of their silhouettes.
On 6 December 2020, VirtuaReal officially announced their eleventh generation of Virtual Livers, including Imi, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Imi made her first dynamic and released her first video, a cover of Ghost City Tokyo, on the same day.
On 18 December 2020, the eleventh wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili lasting from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Imi being the second.[3]
2021[]
On 17 January, Imi reached 100 captains (i.e. members) on her bilibili channel and was entered into bilibili's hall of fame with the achievement "百人舰队" (Hundred-Man Fleet).[4]
On 13 February, Imi's 2021 Valentine's Day voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 26 February.[5]
On 14 August, Imi's 2021 Qixi Festival voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 27 August.[6]
2022[]
On 2 July, Imi's "不思议校园异闻录" (Unimaginable Schoolyard Anecdotes) voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 23 July.[7]
2023[]
On 17 June, Imi revealed a summer outfit.[8]
On 23 June, Imi participated in a NIJISANJI international Valorant collab with Nox and Opal from VirtuaReal, Selen Tatsuki, Shu Yamino, Maria Marionette and Fulgur Ovid from NIJISANJI EN, and Derem Kado, Min Suha and Bonnivier Pranaja from NIJISANJI.[9]
On 29 September, Imi announced that she would graduate on 25 October. All content would be preserved. Gifts will be accepted until the month after her graduation.[10]
