Ine is a female Korean Virtual YouTuber and streamer, who first streamed in July 2021 to participate in the ISEGYE IDOL audition process. She officially debuted as a member of the group in December 2021 with the release of ISEGYE IDOL single album RE:WIND.

She mainly streams Just Chatting, VRChat, singing, and plays all sorts of games.

She currently ranks as both the most watched Korean VTuber and Korean female streamer due to her high average viewership on Twitch.

She has been streaming on SOOP since 11 February 2024, due to the Twitch's termination of its Korean service.

Background[]

Before applying for the Isegye Idol audition, a YouTube channel called "MIRO&INE" was created on May 14 2021 as Ine's cover channel, where Miro would arrange certain music for her to sing. After Ine joined ISEGYE IDOL, the channel does not upload frequently due to her being too busy with her ISEDOL projects.

Ine first applied to audition for the ISEGYE IDOL Project by Streamer Woowakgood on 25 June 2021, making her the first member (out of the current ISEDOL members) to apply. She calls herself a hardcore Disney fan, which is evident by her commonly singing Disney songs during her Stream. She practiced English at a young age, allowing her to sing foreign songs with great pronounciation. She also wrote a whole section about how she became a weeb at a young age, and listed her favorite Animes. Other than that, not much is known about her background, as Ine is very sensitive to her personal information.

2021[]

On 11 July, she made her first appearance on the First Round of auditioning done in VRChat. She introduced her confidence in her singing tone, and claimed that if the audition works out well for her, she is willing to take off a semester to focus on ISEGYE IDOL. While the judges appeared to be skeptical about her statements, it all made sense once she started singing. Roentgenium immediately passed her few seconds into her song, and all three judges would give her a pass while she was still singing her second song. While the judges and chat were thoroughly impressed with her singing, she confirms that she was way too nervous during the audition. She is also accused by Woowakgood for being a fake weeb during the auditioning. He would end up being completely wrong.

On 18 July, she made the list of names that passed the First Round.^[1] She was now officially allowed to stream.

On 26 July, she turned on her Twitch stream for the first time.

On 31 July, she made the list of names that passed the Second Round.^[2]

On 7 August, she made the list of names that passed the Third Round.^[3]

On 26 August, she made the list of names that passed the Final Round.^[4] She is now an official ISEGYE IDOL member.

On 1 December, she became a Twitch partner.

On 17 December, ISEGYE IDOL released their first single album RE:WIND on Melon Chart, which marked the day all six members, including Ine, debuted.

2022[]

On 20 February, she reached 100k followers on Twitch.

On 25 February, she reached 100k subscribers on YouTube.

On 14 August, she reached 200k followers on Twitch.

2024[]

On 10 February, she moved from Twitch to SOOP, due to Twitch's termination of South Korean service.

On 27 April, she revealed her new original avatar and announced her virtual solo concert "Ever Purple." The concert was held on 11 May.^[5]

Fans[]

ISEGYE IDOL fans are called ipari, but members also have their own fan names as well.
Ine's fans are called Doolgi, which translates to Pigeon.
Ine's avatar hair is quite thick on its sides, which made fans suspect that her hair was a pigeon. After one of her viewer uploaded a fan art of her hair flying away as a pigeon, her hair became a meme itself. The pigeon naturally became her fandom name after the incident.
Pigeons are the main fandom name, yet other birds are sometimes mentioned in different situations- crows for viewers who usually get timed out, sparrow for new viewers, and more.

Character Information[]

One of the only members with no official birthday (the other member being Gosegu), due to her not wanting to reveal it. However, 26 July is when her fans celebrate her birthday, as that day was when she changed her avatar.
She is the shortest ISEGYE IDOL member, as she was revealed to be the only member below 160cm. This moment would also become one of her biggest meme.
Her name Ine originates from the German word Eine, which translates to 'one, a certain.' Her Twitch ID 'vo_ine' is an abbreviation of 'vocal ine.'
Her MBTI is INFP, but other other result was INFJ.
Her personal color is blue-violet.

Memes[]

158 (158 centimeters): During the ISEDOL final members meeting stream, Woowakgood needed to balance out the VRChat avatars for ISEGYE IDOL members, and Ine was revealed to be the only member below 158cm (actual height). Gosegu later confirmed that she was taller than 158cm, confirming Ine as the shortest ISEGYE IDOL member. In the end, Woowakgood decided that the VRChat avatars and their height should match their avatar image and not their real height- making Ine's avatar height taller than most of the members. Currently, typing 158 in chat with no context could result in a ban, but the meme itself is not banned in her stream contents, thus making common appearances on her stream.
Dr. Hamine (햄이네 박사님): The meme starts out when her viewer posted on the Fan Cafe (later uploaded to YouTube) that "even bad drawers can draw Ine!" Lilpa saw the poorly drawn version of Ine, and pointed out that it looked like a hamstar she used to have. Ham (hamster) + Ine (Ine).

Red Ginseng (홍삼): Ine tends to drink Red Ginseng during stream breaks.

Other[]

She rarely uses informal tone when speaking. This is evident as Ine took a very long time to speak informally with the other members.
While she is most known for her singing skills, she only streams her singing when she feels her throat is okay to go.
During the final audition round, Woowakgood started a poll for fans to vote, and the questions were: "Which members do want to see in ISEGYE IDOL," "My personal favorite member," and "If I had to choose a serious list of members to represent ISEGYE IDOL." Ine was 1st place in all of those polls.
