Issei Kai (一生カイ) was a male French Virtual YouTuber. He is fluent in French, Japanese, and English, and often alternating between the languages during live streams.

Profile[]
Kai was a normal French Otaku before getting involved in an out of control summoning magic that caused him to become an amnesiac and transported to an isekai. In this fantasy-like new world the only thing that this Virtual Adventurer would never forget is to stay positive and cheerful through all of his adventures.[1]

He has short dark blue hair that has lighter blue streaks with blue eyes.

Background[]
Kai's YouTube channel was created on 4 September 2019, his English Twitter account in September 2019, and his Japanese Twitter account in April 2021.
The reason he started streaming was because originally he intended his YouTube channel for uploading videos instead, but with how busy he was doing his isekai job, he thought streaming would take less time than creating videos. [2]
2022[]
On 17 January, Kai announced his affiliation to Nebula e-Sports as streamer along with Ayase Yui and Moff. [3] He mentioned his goals for being affiliated with Nebula e-Sports are to gain network with other streamers, especially Japanese VTubers community, and to gain "nakama" (friends with same affiliation). [4]
On 10 April, Kai reached 60,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[5]
On 30 May, Kai reached 70,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[6]
On 30 June, Kai announced his withdrawal from Nebula e-Sports upon contract expiration.[7][8]
On 26 July, Kai was tested positive for COVID-19 and had to cancel almost all his upcoming stream schedule.[9]
2023[]
Retirement[]
On 21 January, Kai announced that he would graduate on 4 February 2023.[10]
On 4 February, Kai held his Graduation stream and released a cover of AI Kotoba I, II, III.

- On 3 September 2022, MCM London Comic Con's Twitter account announced that Issei along with Reiny, Auteru Tori, Shizukou, and Ren Ada would be appearing at "VTuber panel" on 28 October at Expo 39.[11]
