Joi (轴伊) is a female Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) from VirtuaReal Project thirteenth generation alongside Tocci, Kiti and Qilou. Joi is the first liver to have debut outside VirtuaReal but joined VirtuaReal Project.

Joi, who described herself in one line, said in a small voice.
Though she always seems to be expressionless, so much so even making people mistake her as being a bit apathetic, Joi actually wants to get along well with every person from the bottom of her heart. In order to fulfill this simple little wish, right now she is challenging the livestream work most unsuitable for herself.
In this way, this cute girl who is not good at words and always speaks in a small voice more or less also carries some adolescent rebelliousness.
Joi, who is gradually learning to open up her heart, looks forward to meeting the real you in the virtual world.[3]

She has short, dark brown hair with pink highlights with a single side hair bun and light yellow eyes with light pink hairclips and a pink beret with a ribbon.

Debut[]
Joi debuted on Douyu as an independent VUP in 2018, then moved to bilibili in 2019 as a member of WINKS, until the agency disbanded.
2021[]
On 1 May, the upcoming Livers were teased on the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts with an image of their silhouettes.[4]
On 2 May, VirtuaReal officially announced their thirteenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Joi, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Joi released her first video since joining VirtuaReal on the same day.
On 9 May, the thirteenth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili lasting from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Joi being the second.[5]
Later on 23 May, a video featuring highlights of their debut streams, presented by iiivan from Xue Feng Jun Tuan, was released on bilibili's official virtual streamer channel.
On 8 August, Joi reached 100 captains (i.e. members) on her bilibili channel and was entered into bilibili's hall of fame with the achievement "百人舰队" (Hundred-Man Fleet).[6]
On 24 December, Joi's 2021 X'mas voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 7 January 2022.[7]
2022[]
On 14 February, Joi's 2022 Valentine's Day voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 28 February.[8]
On 2 July, Joi's "不思议校园异闻录" (Unimaginable Schoolyard Anecdotes) voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 23 July.[9]
2023[]
On 1 April, Joi invited her character designer Shiino Sera to play MC together.[10]

Miscellaneous[]
- Joi originally thought she joined VirtuaReal under VirtuaReal Link. She was listed under VirtuaReal Project instead of Link on the official VirtuaReal website. However, she is not listed on the NIJISANJI official website. Joi still thought this was a mistake on the website and continued to self-identity as VirtuaReal Link for a while. But later she discovered the internal document actually referred to her as being under VirtualReal Project from the start.[12]
