Kaichinzu is an independent, male, English VTuber from the United Kingdom.
Personality[]
Kaichinzu has a lively and upbeat personality. His streams are vary rarely quiet and he gets scared incredibly easily when playing horror games, resulting in a lot of screaming. He is from the UK and talks with a British accent.
Appearance[]
Kaichinzu has medium length, dark/black hair. He has yellow/golden eyes and is primarily wearing a white shirt but will sometimes layer this with either a light blue vest, or a black jacket and tie combination. He wears a black cross earring on his left ear.
History[]
Kaichinzu started streaming on Twitch on 19 March 2023. The first game he ever played was God of War.
2023[]
On 19 March, Kaichinzu streamed live On Twitch for the first time. The first game he ever played was God of War.
On 26 March, Kaichinzu uploaded his first YouTube video, a highlight reel of his CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION playthrough.[1]
On 31 March, Kaichinzu started playing Genshin Impact for the first time. This would be his main content focus going forward and how he grew his initial audience after uploading his playthrough on his YouTube channel a few days later on 2 April.[2]
On 27 November, it was announced that Kaichinzu had been nominated for 'Hidden Gem' at The VTuber Awards/2023, hosted by Filian.[3]
On 11th December, it was announced that Kaichinzu had won the award for 'Best Newcomer' at the 2023 Global VTuber Awards.[4]
On 23 December, it was announced that Kaichinzu had won the 'Grand Prize' award at the Global VTuber Awards for the most voted overall across the entire competition. The prize was an all expenses paid trip to Tokyo, Japan. Kaichinzu announced in his Discord server that he had asked the Global VTuber Awards to change his prize for a new PC, as the one he was currently using was not performing well enough to stream consistently. The Global VTuber awards accepted this request.[5]
2024[]
On 1 January, Kaichinzu debuted his 1.5 Live2D model. He called it 1.5 because it was a pre-made model that he bought from BOOTH. He adjusted and edited the textures himself to make it resemble his 1.0 image by editing the color of the clothing, eyes, accessories, hair and more. Kaichinzu stated that a fully original 2.0 model was in the works, so he wanted to get used to using a 2D model & VTube Studio in the mean time, hence the 1.5 labelling.
Mascots and Fans[]
- Kaichinzu has a black cat familiar/mascot named Mr Hooh. This mascot is based off the cursed cat meme. He was named 'Hooh' because of an image featuring the cursed black cat meme with the caption 'ЪУЪ' that was posted in his community Discord server. Community member nasty soup said that it sounded like 'hooh' (pronounced 'who') in Russian. It became the first emote in his Discord server and mascot ever since.[6]

Kaichinzu has stated that his name doesn't have any special meaning or reference behind it. He wanted to find a unique, single word name that was not used on any other social media website so he could have the same username across all platforms and games.
