I am Rita Kamishiro, Cyber Enhanced Being. Please, hear my story... I was just a normal girl, Surrounded by sadness. I'd always try to see the brighter side in things And they said we could help. I wanted to help. A gift given to bring peace to all, to guide others, and to protect others. But that was far from truth... beautiful lies... smoke and mirrors... fake smiles... and I couldn't stand for it... here I am. I want to make you smile. I want to make a difference.

I am Rita Kamishiro.[2]

Just like the rest of the PRISM Project members, Kamishiro Rita is a special agent from the year 2120, which has been sent back to the past to prevent the threat of humans losing interest and passion for others.

Personality[]

The thing that sets Rita apart from the other members of PRISM Project is her voice. She has a calm, relaxing and clean voice. This distinctive tone is very evident when she performs songs.

She is the complete opposite of her genmate Luto. She is calm and nice to her viewers. She also doesn't swear.

She is a bit clumsy and she is fully aware of this. Sometimes she giggles from stress.

Appearance[]

Rita has the appearance of a cyber angel lady. She wears a large white-dark blue mecha dress with speakers around the middle. In the lower part of the dress, there is a light blue beam ring. She also wears white tights and dark blue shoes.

She has emerald eyes and white hair. She wears white headphones on her head. A white-dark blue halo hovers above her head.

She also has an alternative idol costume. In this costume, she drops some heavier and unnecessary parts from her dress. She also gets a pair of floating speakers next to her head.

History[]

Background[]

Her YouTube channel was created on 2 March 2021, her Twitter account was created in the same month. On 7 March 2021, at the end of the PRISM Project collaboration stream over on Ibuki Meno's channel, a time anomaly was reported by the PRISM staff. The culprits behind the anomaly later turned out to be the 2nd Generation members, Kamishiro Rita and Araka Luto. [3] During the event, she tweeted her first tweet.[4] She revealed her voice on 10 March in a tweet, where she sang "Kokoro no Senritsu".[5]. She unveiled her upper body design on 13 March.[6] On 17 March, she posted her first post on Reddit, on the r/VirtualYoutubers subreddit.[7] She uploaded her first video on her YouTube channel on 22 March, where she covered "Marutsuke" by Centimillimental and Given.

She debuted on 28 March 2021 on YouTube.[8]

2021[]

On 30 March, she did her first acapella stream.[9]

On 1 April, she did her first video game stream, where she played I Am Bread and Genshin Impact.[10]

On 18 April, she celebrated her monetization by doing a singing stream.[11]

On 3 May, she released her first song cover video. The song she covered was "Melody of the Heart" (Kokoro no Senritsu).

On 8 July, Rita's Youtube channel reached 10k subscribers.[12]

On 9 August, Rita's Tiktok account reached 20k followers.[13]

On 25 September, Gen 2's 6 months anniversary, Rita and Luto released their new song cover Suki Kirai by HoneyWorks on Rita's channel. Right after the song was their celebration stream "Try not to laugh challenge".[14]

On 12 October, Rita's Youtube channel reached 20k subscribers. Her celebration stream on 14 October, right after the release of the new cover song "MOZAIK ROLE (Reloaded)" by OTOIRO.[15][16]

2022[]

On 7 January, Rita opened her channel membership feature.[17]

On 8 February, Rita and Luto announced a fan art project that would be used in a special project to celebrate the 2nd generation's one year anniversary.[18]

On 18 March, Rita celebrated her one year anniversary with a 3D concert in game VRChat. She also released her first original song "One Step."[19]

On 26 March, Rita and Luto released a cover of "BRING IT ON" by Giga as well a fanart showcase in commemoration of their one-year anniversary.[20]

On 13 May, she released her new original song "FEARLESS."

On 14 May, during the National Mental Health Awareness Month, she held a charity stream to raise funds for NAMI Communicate, with the results raised a total of $10,101 USD.[21][22]

2023[]

On 1 February, Rita reached 30,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[23]

2024[]

Dissolving[]

On 2 March 2024, PRISM Project announced they would cease their ativities at the end of the month, and let all remaining talents the chance to keep their character IPs.[24] Rita confirmed she will become independent.

Joining NOA Talent[]

On 9 November, NOA Talent uploaded a teaser video, officially announcing its new group "PRIMORDIɅ", consisting of 3 members: Sayu Sincronisity, Rita Kamishiro and Sagisawa Ria.[25]

On 15 November, PRIMORDIɅ released their first original song "BREAK & BEND."

On 16 November, Rita official debuted as a member of NOA Talent and debuted her third outfit.[26]

  • On 10 February 2022, Rita confirmed that she would be appearing as a guest on Kizuna Ai the last live "hello, world 2022" on 26 February. "hello, world 2022" was Kizuna Ai's last live before an indefinite hiatus.[27]
  • On 5 April 2022, OffKai Expo's Twitter account announced that Kamishiro Rita and many VTubers would appear in "OffKai Expo" which would be held from 29 April to 1 May as guests.[28]
  • On 14 February 2025, Rita performed "Treasure" and over original song "Brain Worm" in raechit's Valentines Day concert [29]

  • Rita's first and main streaming language is English, but she also speaks a little bit of Japanese.
