Kanade MiMi (奏MiMi) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber and singer who debuted on December 2018. MiMi used to be endorsed by Smarprise but she is now an independent VTuber.
Her main human form which she gained in 2020, is a cat girl with pink cat ears, and long pink hair arranged in a ponytail, plus a red highlight along the middle of her bangs. Her eyes have turquoise irises and she has red whisker-like markings on her cheeks.
Her original form while she was in Smarprise is a cartoon-style cat with pinkish white fur, gray-pink gradient hair and eyes with turquoise irises.

MiMi's YouTube channel was created on 5 December 2018, with her Twitter account being created in December of the same year she published videos teasing her debut date on her other social media pages such as TikTok and Twitter from 14 to 18 December being one of these videos her first tweet on 14 December.[2] She officially debuted on 21 December 2018 with a cover of Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.[3]

On 27 December, she reached 1,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[4]
2019[]
On 13 January, MiMi reached 20,000 followers on her TikTok account.[5]
On 5 March, she reached 80,000 followers on her TikTok account while on the same date her YouTube channel reached 2,012 subscribers.[6]
On 8 March, she reached 90,000 followers on her TikTok account.[7]
On 13 March, MiMi reached 100,000 followers on her TikTok account.[8]
2020[]
On 19 April, she reached 250,000 followers on her TikTok account.[9]
On 21 July, Smarprise posted on their Twitter account that they received thank you letters from both Fuji Aoi and Kanade MiMi. In response Aoi thanked them from their help and that she would continue to support Smarprise, this marks the beginning of both Aoi and MiMi continuing their activities as independent VTubers.[10][11]
On 11 October, MiMi announced on her Twitter account, that she would debut her human from that she had been teasing for some months, publishing various tweets counting the days until her new form debuts.[12]
On 16 October, MiMi debuted her human form 3D model during a short video introduction, while she still uses her cat form her human form became her main model.[13]
On 25 December, she reached 12,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[14]
