Personality[]
Kani was a crab born on Christmas Island who lived with her family of crabs. One day, she was separated from them, and decided to travel far in order to find them. She got lost and found herself in the United Kingdom, where she discovered the concept of virtual YouTubers. She was then inspired to follow down that path and become the VTuber Kani Kanizawa.[1]

She has red hair and twintails in hair 'loops' that represents a crab shape/silhouette with hairclips and light purple eyes.

Kani created her YouTube channel on 29 September, 2020. She then made her YouTube debut on 4 December, 2020.
2020[]
During her debut stream, she sang DEJA VU by Dave Rodgers.
On 5 December, the day after her debut, she was part of an Among Us collab with the rest of Atelier Live.
2021[]
On 29 March, Kani reached 25.000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. She celebrated the milestone two days later, on 31 March.[2]
