Kimmigami Freyja was an English-language VTuber on Twitch who was a skater girl in a past life before becoming a sniper shinigami. She primarily streams CoD Warzone and Just Chatting.
Personality[]
Kim is a calm minded and adorable VTuber who both enjoys lewding her chat and also grinding CoD Warzone to consistently improve her FPS skills. She's always looking for a new and better way to help those who come into her chat and does whatever she can to make their day a little easier to get through wherever they're coming from. She performs a wide variety of anime catch phrases in her own style and often enjoys her own antics and ends up captivating chat within them.

She has black hair with a white headband and very long single braid. Her eyes are a dull gold and she wears a white hoodie dress with skull graphic.
History[]
Background[]
Kimmigami's Twitch account was originally created on 1 January 2017. Her earliest known Twitch stream is is a MapleStory livestream on 29 June 2019.
2020[]
On 25 October, she made her first known stream with a VTuber model instead of a static or animated GIF avatar. This model is 3D, and has white hair and red eyes. This marked the beginning of a period of grwoth and regular streaming.
2021[]
On 11 March, she made her first stream with "VTuber" in the title.
On 25 March, she first expressed interest in commissioning an original Live2D model.[1]
On 20 April, she reached 1,000 Twitch followers.
On 23 April, she previewed the design for her original VTuber model, by @meowryart. This model features blakck with a white headband, a white hoodie decorated with a skull emblem, and a scythe.[2]
On 28 April, she made her introductory TikTok.[3]
On 16 August, she posted her design sheet.[4]
On 4 September, she reached 2,000 Twitch followers.
On 20 September, she made the earliest known VTuber stream to feature her original Live2D model, titled "[PRE-DEBUT] NEW VTUBER WHO DIS?"[5] She would also reveal the Live2D model on Twitter around the same time.[6] She would continue to use "PRE-DEBUT" in descriptions until 29 September.
She streamed nearly every day in 2021, but would stream less regularly in following years.
2022[]
At some point between 14 June and 14 September, she changed her Twitter username from @Kimmigami.[7]
On 14 September, she returned from a hiatus to tease a new 3D model.[8][9][10]
2023[]
She streamed around April to May, and again in mid-August to mid-September. While a clip on 28 March shows her Live2D model, a new dark-haired 3D model began to appear from April 2023. Her original design still appears as late as a tweet in 20 September.[11]
2024[]
She streamed only sporadically in this year, and the only available clips show her using her original white-haired 3D model.
At some point the name Kimmigami Freyja was no longer used, and it is ambiguous if the character is considered retired.

Name[]
- Kimmigami is a portmanteau of "Kim" and "shinigami," the latter being a Japanese term for a death god or grim reaper type being.
- Freyja is a name of Scandinavian origin, originally a Norse goddess.
