Kingyozaka Meiro (金魚坂めいろ) was a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI.
The only daughter of an established family that manages "Kingyozaka," a staircase lined with a thousand torii gates. She attends a strict, rich all-girls boarding school. Despite being a shy person, she has guts and dreams of singing and dancing in 3D.[1]

Meiro is also invited as the 8th Guest on 'Shishiradio' by Shiina Yuika on her YouTube channel on 6 September 2020. During this stream, Meiro tell Shiina on how much she respected Tsukino Mito as her senpai.
Retirement[]
On 19 October 2020, NIJISANJI official Twitter account announced the termination of Meiro's contract for leaking confidential information to outside parties.[3][4]
Trivia[]
- Meiro likes drawing manga and anime. She animated the GIF and intro animation of her debut stream all by herself.
- Meiro's Twitter bio states she is a student studying English, Russian, and psychology.
- Meiro's termination was related to a conflict with Yuzuki Roa that started with similarities between Meiro's and Roa's speech patterns: Roa uses an artificial accent that she considers an intrinsic part of her brand identity, while Meiro claimed that her accent was natural. Tensions worsened due to Meiro's unwillingness to talk things out with Roa, Roa's anxiety, and Ichikara's inadequate mediation efforts.[5] Meiro eventually leaked confidential documents to an outside party known for sensationalizing Vtuber news, prompting Ichikara to terminate her contract for violating NDA.[4]
