Kiraboshi Miya (綺羅星ミヤ) is a Vtuber and vSinger from the group AKA Virtual. She is half Japanese and half Filipino and she brings out the best of both music culture with her amazing singing.

Lore[]

Born into a family of singers, Miya grew up in a humble town in the Philippines. She sang for her family, neighbors, friends, classmates, and teachers. Everyone loved hearing her sing and it also developed her singing ability.

When she was 16, she was singing in a karaoke bar (with her guardian) and Miz Muzical, a famous figurehead in the musical industry, was on vacation when she overheard Miya sing. She scouted Miya and flew her to Japan where she worked at her aunt's jazz bar while continuing to develop her singing.

4 years pass and she is ready to fulfill her mission, to be one of the Stars in the universe and to guard it from toxicity and negativity.

綺羅星ミヤ (Kiraboshi Miya) Is your friendly neighborhood ate (elder sister). She is sassy to the highest level and likes to inform her viewers that she’s had no boyfriends since birth #NBSB.

Miya has an angelic voice which you can hear from her cover songs and Wednesday 3D Live streams.

She loves talking to her viewers specially when she has some juicy gossip to share. Miya also likes to be sweet talked by her viewers which ends up extending the stream.

Background[]

Miya 1.0 began her early career streaming on Facebook. She then transitioned to YouTube but still posts on her Facebook page to let her followers know.

2021[]

On 30 August, Miya debuted her 2.0 outfit.[1]

On 28 November, Miya debuted on YouTube. her first YouTube stream was karaoke.[2]

2022[]

On 9 February, Miya debuted her 3.0 model.[3]

On 22 April, Miya revealed a 'Neon' outfit, this being a recolour of her main model to appear like the character from VALORANT.[4]

On 7 May, Miya reached 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. she celebrated with a karaoke stream.[5]

On 18 May, Miya revealed a new outfit. this outfit is a yellow/gold dress and golden jewellery.[6]

On 24 May, Miya revealed a 'Sage' outfit, once again being a recoloured miya to appear like the character from VALORANT.[7]

On 17 August, Miya held an announcement stream. she revealed a new green, red and gold outfit, and the announcement was that she would be debuting her 4.0 model soon.[8]

On 7 August, Miya reached 6,000 subscribers on YouTube.[9]

On 24 August, Miya debuted her 4.0 model.[10]

On 9 September, Miya announced in a donathon karaoke stream that she would be taking a two-week break.[11]

On 19 September, Miya returned to her activities.[12]

On 9 October, Miya reached 10,000 subscribers on YouTube.[13]

On 12 October, Miya reached 13,000 subscribers on YouTube.[14]

2023[]

On 19 May, Miya announced she was going on a Hiatus.[15]

On 2 June, Miya returned to her activities.[16]

On 21 August, Miya announced she was going into an indefinite Hiatus, due to not being able to regularly stream.[17]

On 22 November, Miya made a single-stream return, to check in and chat. she then proceeded to continue in her indefinite Hiatus.[18]

2024[]

On 30 December, Miya briefly returned to post a message on her Twitter, thanking her fans for streaming her Spotify music despite her now 1.5 year indefinite Hiatus. she wished her fans a happy new year, then went back into her Hiatus.[19]
