Kirabosi Penta is the VTuber alter ego of dancer Asibuto Penta. After a number of livestreams using a ready-made model, she held a grand 3D debut as Kirabosi Penta in 2025. She is best known for her talented dance choreography, and has provided choreography for other VTubers including hololive.

Asibuto Penta originally created her YouTube channel "ringring0118" on 12 September 2008. From 25 January 2009 she began uploading "odottemita" or dance cover videos, branching out to Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga on 19 December 2010. Her earliest known video is a dance cover of Renai Circulation posted to Niconico on 1 January 2011. On 4 October 2011 she created the Niconico community co1358080, aka Asibuto Penters, where she would regularly make live broadcasts.
On 27 May 2013 she created a new YouTube channel, following the closure of her original channel due to copyright takedowns based on music in dance covers. Despite this setback, Penta continued to see great success as a dancer. In the following decade she reached over 200,000 YouTube subscribers, performed at events, and collaborated with other major odottemita stars including Aikawa Kozue, Ikura, Miume and Ririri.
2023[]
On 26 December, she made her first appearance as a VTuber, in a Niconico regular livestream titled "It's the end of the year, so I wanted to become a VTuber Tuesday broadcast!" It used a 2D chibi model by Panda. It was followed by a YouTube livestream. She was still using a free trial of VTube Studio, so the software's mascot software appeared. She made her catchphrase "poyo."[1][2]
2024[]
On 21 October, she released her original theme song Happy Pentan Festival.
2025[]
On 30 January, she announced that upon reaching 100,000 followers on X, "Asibuto Penta will finally enter the 2D world."[3] Over the following days, a series of preview images of her new original character model design were revealed.[4]
On 9 February, followers were tasked with a "V-Pen Wake up Mission, challenging followers to post their memories of Penta to the hashtag #ぺん so that she can awaken.[5]
On 4 March, she made her debut stream on YouTube. The event was also streamed on on Niconico.[6] The stream was a full 3D concert introducing the name Kirabosi Penta. The event featured guest appearances by Aohara Alice.
On the same day, she established a separate Twitter account for her VTuber persona, @kirabosipenta, announcing that it would be closed and merged with the main Asibuto Penta account unless it reached 2,525 followers within one month.[7]She was surprised to reach the target within two days.[8][9] The number 2525 was significant as goroawase for "niconico," the site where Penta first became popular.
On 15 April, she celebrated 5,000 Twitter followers,[10] and created a separate YouTube channel for her VTuber persona. The same day, she held her first livestream on the main Asibuto Penta channel.
