KoMETA Virtual Live (KoMETA) was "the first Filipino VTuber Corporation". They produce, manage, and support Virtual Entertainers in the Philippines.
The company was founded by GIRA.

Background[]
KoMETA's official Twitter account was opened on February 2021 and the official Facebook page was launched on May 2021.
On 29 June 2021, they launched their first wave of auditions.[1]
2021[]
On 2 July, a character design sheet for Elaine was revealed dubbing her as the "KoMETA Flagship VTuber".[2]
On 25 November, it was announced that the first generation of talents would be revealed on 1 December 2021.[3]
On 1 December, the first generation of talents were revealed.[4] Elaine with the codename "Virtual Diva"[5], Miria with the codename "Medic"[6], and Virgil codenamed "Officer"[7].
On 7 December, the first generation held their respective debut streams.[8]
On 28 December, all the talents' streaming activities were temporarily suspended due to connectivity issues.[9]
2022[]
On 18 January, the talents resumed their streaming activities.[10]
On 26 January, KoMETA announced that Elaine had contracted SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and would be taking a break from streaming activities to recover.[11]
On 8 February, Elaine resumed her stream activities.[12]
On 22 February, KoMETA revealed that Elaine, Miria, and Virgil have achieved channel monetization.[13]
On 8 April, KoMETA announced that Elaine will be undergoing a hiatus from streaming to stabilize her mental health and work on non-livestream related projects. Her hiatus would be announced to last until 29 April.[14]
On 28 April, KoMETA released a statement stating that Elaine's hiatus would be extended from ending on 29 April to indefinitely.[15]
On 14 May, KoMETA announced that Elain would be returning to streaming. Her comeback stream would be held on 16 May.[16]
On 26 June, KoMETA announced that, due to audio quality issues, Miria had been provided with new equipment effective within the week after preliminary setup.[17]
On 8 August, KoMETA announced that Virgil would be taking a hiatus until 17 August to "facilitate better mental health".[18]
On 20 August, KoMETA released an announcement that Virgil would be extending her hiatus to 29 August.[19]
On 29 August, KoMETA held its first "KoMETA FAN WEEK", a week dedicated to showcasing fan work and to thank fans for their support towards KoMETA's activities.[20]
On 23 October, KoMETA announced that Elaine would temporarily be reducing the frequency of her scheduled content following a medical procedure she would be undergoing.[21]
On 27 October, KoMETA announced that Miria had contracted SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and would be taking a break from streaming activities to recover. She would be set to return on 2 November.[22]
On 7 December, KoMETA's first generation celebrated their debut anniversary.[23]
On 21 December, in regard to their first anniversary, KoMETA announced limited Anniversary merchandise and teased auditions for a 2nd generation and the reveal of a new "male division".[24]
2023[]
On 6 January, KoMETA formally announced auditions for a 2nd Generation of talents.[25] They also announced auditions for the male divison.[26]
On 10 January, KoMETA reported that Elaine had experience exacerbation of her existing spinal injury (herniated disc) leading to more severe chronic pain and emergent partial paralysis of her legs. Due to this, Elaine's streaming activities would be further lessened.[27]
On 25 February, an updated to Elaine's condition had been announced stating that she was diagnosed with hearing loss. All her activities related to music production would be postponed until further notice.[28]
1st Generation Graduation[]
On 3 May, it was announced that Elaine will be graduating from KoMETA Virtual Live due to insurmountable health concerns. Her graduation would be scheduled on 8 May, 8:00 PM PHT.[29]
On May 8, Elaine held her graduation stream. During this stream, she revealed that she is working closely with management to "find the next 'Elaine' to take her place". She also initially announced that after her graduation, her streams will be archived except for her original songs and covers.[30]
On 13 May, KoMETA followed-up with a statement regarding their course of action after Elaine's graduation, clarifying that the voice talent replacement for "Elaine" after graduating was Elaine's choice, the new talent would go under a different name and a modified design of the "Elaine" model, and that Elaine's videos would continue to be available for the public to view.[31]
On 2 June, after weeks of no activity, KoMETA announced that Miria and Virgil would be graduating. Their graduation streams were scheduled to be held on 26 June, 6:00 PM PHT and 8:00 PM PHT respectively. Unlike Elaine, their corresponding IPs and assets would be retired after graduating.[32]
On 12 June, KoMETA announced a Gen 1 Post-Graduation Press Conference to be held on the official KoMETA YouTube Channel aiming to answer questions and concerns sent to a now-archived Google Form.[33]
On 14 June, KoMETA's "Post-Gen 1 Graduation Press Conference" was held - hosted by CEO, Gira. The full video can be viewed here.
On 26 June, Virgil and Miria held their respective graduation streams. This marks the company having no active talents as of writing.[34]
