Her YouTube channel was created on 12 October 2022, her Twitter account was created in October 2022.
On 17 October 2022, Varium posted a short video on Twitter and YouTube channel introducing their first generation, consisting of 5 members: Nanase Eru, Louise Priere, Komai Ume, Tsukiyoi Avi, and Suzutuki Sui.[4] On the same day, Ume made her first tweet.[5] Ume debuted on 24 October on YouTube channel.
2022[]
On 23 November, she celebrated her channel monetization and enabled super chat feature.[6]
On 7 December, she reached 10,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.
On 8 December, she opened her channel membership feature.[7]
2024[]
On 3 January, she reached 20,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.[8]
On 15 August, she reached 30,000 subscribers on YouTube channel during a karaoke stream.[9]
On 31 August, Varium announced that Ume would take a break to recover her health.[10][11]
On 17 October, she returned to her activities.[12]
2025[]
On 7 January, Ume debuted her second costume.[13]

- Her favorite games are FPS and craft games.
- Her goals are to collaborate with many people, have a live concert with everyone in Varium, get the highest rank in games, have a good time with everyone.
- On her Hamaya (a lucky arrow), there are a piece of paper with the word "Ume"「うめ」and a wooden board with the word "Z-cup." Hayama is an arrow given at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples as a Japanese New Year's lucky charm or sacred tool.
