KoziiChu (コージーちゅ) is an English-language VTuber. She primarily streams on YouTube, and is known for her comfy style of streaming, as well as her skill in digital art and Live2D rigging.
Personality[]
KoziiChu is a very bully-able alpaca girl. She tends to want to fight her chat a lot, and gives a similar aura to a girl next door/childhood friend trope. She plays a lot of retro/nostalgic games, alongside simulation games such as Stardew Valley/Minecraft. She also enjoys city building or strategy games, such as Dwarf Fortress. Kozii tries to create a friendly and fun environment where her Koziidachi can relax and have a good time. Recently (2024), she's also started to stream on YouTube Shorts, and occasionally restreams to other platforms.
Kozii is always thinking of the next new direction she wants to take her content. She's happy to talk about her constantly changing list of Live2D model ideas, and sometimes even adds 3D to the mix. She may or may not have an addiction to creating and using new VTuber models, though she's slowed down some on their creation, opting to create bigger and better models overall.
Appearance[]
Kozii is a strawberry blonde digital-themed alpaca VTuber. Her main outfit is black and white, with purple and blue accents, as of March 2024, and includes African Violets (Baby Brian Variety), an edited version of the Gameboy Advance, her own Tamagotchi, and other gaming references. The Konami Code can be seen partially obscured on the band on her thigh. She has dark purple eyes, that fade into a light pink at the bottom, and a glowing blue lining the pupil. Her ears move up and down, like an alpaca's would in real life. She has a usually unseen fluffy tail behind her.
Her eyes, the markings along her body, and a few spots on her clothing have a faint glow to them. She also has a pink under highlight to her hair that glows.
History[]
Background[]
Kozii had attempted streaming and YouTube several times before without much luck. In November 2020, as soon as her fiber internet was installed, she began working on her VTuber model. Due to a lack of funding, all resources were made by her; trailers, video edits, overlays, emotes, logo/character design, model/rigging, and several BGM tracks were fully created herself. Although her debut was in February 2021, she started her career in early December 2020.
Kozii's first streams were of Animal Crossing and Donut County, paving the way for more comfy and entertaining content down the line. About 6 months in, Kozii attempted her first art and Live2D streams, continuing a comfy vibe for her channel. At some point in 2022, Kozii decided to step back from most artistic or Live2D Stream content, now only offering it as Member's content on rare occasions. Presently, Kozii has embraced a more nostalgic vibe to her content, playing slower games with a lot of strategy or city building aspects, along with retro games like Neopets - and, of course, her usual comfy entertainment, with plenty of Minecraft and Simulation games.
In 2022, KoziiChu joined with an adoption-style talent agency, Kawa Entertainment. This saw several merch releases for her, alongside the start of her convention appearances, including visiting Offkai and Anime Expo in 2023. She held several meet and greets throughout 2022-2024, and even hosted at least one Panel discussing VTubing.
At the start of 2024, Kawa Entertainment dissolved its talent branch, leaving KoziiChu as an independent VTuber again. She promptly debuted a new model, and joined up with a content creator Minecraft server, the Mythical SMP. Following this, Kozii also completed several Live2D Commissions for both Corporate and Indie clients. She created a new website for herself, expanded her social media presence, and partnered with several new brands, growing substantially more than she had in previous years.
2021[]
On 13 February, she debuted on YouTube.[1]
On 8 March, during her birthday stream she revealed her VRoid model.[2]
On 1 April, Kozii debuted a joke Animal Crossing alpaca Live2D model.[3]
On 13 May, Kozii held her 3 month anniversary stream.[4]
On 28 June, she reached 1,400 followers on Twitter.
On 5 July, Kozii’s second main Live2D model was completed.[5]
On 16 July, she hit 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.
On 12 August, she joined Prism Virtual, a small VTuber Guild.
On 21 October, KoziiChu changed her name from Millie Fuwaffles.[6]
On 27 October, Kozii posted her currently most viewed video on TikTok, with over 344,000 views[7]
2022[]
On 13 February, for her 1 Year Anniversary, KoziiChu's third main Live2D model was debuted.[8]
On 4 March, KoziiChu hit 2,000 followers on YouTube, 3,200 on Twitter, and 15,000 on TikTok.
On 5 April, she finished creation of her second VRoid 3D model.[9]
On 17 April, KoziiChu left her VTuber guild, Prism Virtual.[10]
On 11 June, Kozii's YouTube channel reached 3,000 subscribers.
On 15 June, she announced that she was joining Kawa Entertainment in the second wave of its first generation, "Vita". Her redebut with the company was scheduled for 23 June.[11]
Kozii's first Merch was launched as part of her Kawa Entertainment debut.[12][13]
On 24 July, Kozii's YouTube channel reached 4,000 subscribers.
On 4 August, Kozii's YouTube channel hit 7,000 subscribers following a viral burst of one of her livestreams.
On 14 August, KoziiChu reached 100,000 views on a VOD, where she was working on the Live2D rig for her co-talent, Hunikin.[14]
On 20 August, Kozii's Twitter account reached 5,000 followers.
On 31 August, Kozii premiered a cover of "Summertime" by cinnamons × evening cinema (the Maggie 麦吉 / 盖盖 Nyan Arrange Ver.) as a duet with her friend Cesela.
2024[]
On 10 January, Kawa Entertainment announced their talent branch had been dissolved, so Kozii went back to being an independent VTuber.[15]
On 8 March, Kozii debuted her newest model with a gamer/tech/hacker aesthetic, and released a cover of "Kyoufuu All-back" alongside it.[16] She also sang the Kumikyoku NicoNico Douga medley karaoke-style.
On 3 March, Kozii's YouTube channel reached 13,000 subscribers.
