Kumo Kuddelmuddel, also known as Kumogorogoro or Kumo for short, is a spider cryptid VTuber who lives in an abandoned radio station in the Mojave desert. She is the host of the Thing in the basement of Radio Mojave and a self-described "bro-con."
Kumo broadcasts ASMR, gaming, and zatsudan six days a week, and on her channel she brings a nurtured comfy but oddly liminal vibe. Don't mind the shadow people, ok? From morning hangouts, to late night ASMR. She streams a variety of content throughout each week. On uncommon occasions witnesses have also reported spotting her claws (nails) as she reads doujinshis or builds gunpla models together.
Personality[]
Kumo is German and English, but speaks primarily in English on stream. She is comforting and pampering to her listeners when she is doing ASMR. She often calls her chatters "big bro" and has a bratty nature. She doesn't like to admit it, but she is a major nerd and boat otaku. An absolute sweetheart and a little sister worth living for.

She has silvery pale skin with long white hair with blunt bangs and braided hair buns, rounded eyebrows, and pointed ears that has two gold piercings on one ear, she also sometimes sports a black spider crown with yellow spots.

2021[]
On 9 May, Kumo held her first stream on Twitch.
On 10 October, Kumo debuted her Live2D model.
2022[]
On 3 March, Kumo released her first cover song with Elysia Amore: Eat Spit! 〔Elysia x Kumo〕.
On 4 August, Kumo held her first stream on YouTube.
On 13 September, Kumo reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[1] [2]
On 13 October, as part of her birthday celebrations, Kumo's second cover "Brat" by Moxifloxi was released.
2023[]
On 10 October, "THE FUMO KUMO IS REAL," the first ever Kumo plushie was released for pre-order on Kawa Entertainment's shop.
On 29 June, Kumo released an original song with Moxifloxi called "How Would You Like It?"
2024[]
On 16 February, with co-hosts Ichigo Lemonade & Reiyu GuiGui, Kumo released the GyaruCast podcast.
On 20 February, Kumo reached 80,000 subscribers on YouTube.[3]
On 30 April, while celebrating her Twitch partner anniversary, Kumo redebuted and revealed the Kumogaki model.
On 12 June, Kumo took part in the Japanese KanColle Community Tournament, the カットイン | Cut-In Contest 5.
On 13 October, Kumo celebrated her birthday by revealing both her new "Oktoberfest outfit" and debuted her cover of "What Do They Know" by Mindless Self Indulgence(MSI).
On 13 October, during her birthday celebration, Kumo reveled her new Oktoberfest themed birthday merch via Kawa Entertainment's shop.
On 15 October, following her friends Tane Tenshi and VividlyVivi, Kumo promised she aims to never graduate.[4]
On 26 October, Kumo hosted the "KanColle Community Regatta" a Community Event for the English KanColle community that was joined by some Japanese players in the global community as well.
On 31 December, Kumo revealed a new outfit, the "Yukata outfit," during her New Year's Celebration Stream.

On 22 March, Kumo attended Carriercon, a convention celebrating cosplay, tabletop gaming, and Western and Japanese media hosted within the USS Hornet.
On 24 March, Kumo departed for her first ever trip to Japan.
On 1 May, Jast idols! held their debut stream, with Kumo in attendance as one of their main members.
On May 9th, Kumo celebrated her 4th Stream Anniversary where she debuted a new cover song 3S by Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI) This marked Kumo's 4th song cover and her 5th song release overall.

Koomer[]
- Her chat mascots are her fans, the "koomers," which appear as plush spiders. While discussing the request of the design from MollyMishy, Kumo stated on stream that "the koomers are a byproduct of the Thing in the basement, and these small haunting creatures heed the word of the Host. They are lost spirits and doomed sinners. They appear as small spider sprites, little flickers of spirits and they are plentiful." Kumo knits each koomer's plush body herself.
- She stated that the inspiration for the koomer mascot were prinnies.
Big Bro[]
- She often calls her viewers "big bro," and has said that the koomers are able to physically form together into a big brother.

Name[]
- In Japanese, 「くも」 "Kumo" can mean spider or cloud. Kumo uses the katakana 「クモ」when writing her name in Japanese.
- "Kuddelmuddel" is a German onomatopoeia that doesn't have a direct translation, but the closest would be "messy mess" in English.
- In her usernames, 「ごろごろ」"goro goro" is another onomatopoeia, this time Japanese, that means "rumbling."

- Kumo is a spider cryptid.
- Kumo's original lore, presented in a live-play of a indie video game she developed, had her arriving at the Mojave Radio Station after escaping confinement at NAMD Laboratories. She has stated several times that this origin was abandoned, and her official lore statement reads that she has lived in the station for as long as she can remember.
- There is some "thing" in the basement of the Radio Station.
