Kurou Satsuki (紅狼サツキ) was a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber who debuted as an independent in 2019. In 2021, she joined ZERO Project as part of its 3rd generation along with Ichiya Uru, Sinonome Mayoi, Yumemi Yurame, Sion Piyo, and Yumeri Mery until that agency's disbanding in 2022. She was also a member of the indie music group Re:fAce Music Production concurrently with her membership in ZERO Project.

I'm Satsuki Kurou, an arctic wolf beastgirl VTuber from ZERO Project.
My motto is: "Stream the things that I myself enjoy the most."[1]

Appearance[]

Satsuki has very long silvery-white hair with a red gradient toward the tips, and eyes with yellow irises. As a wolf girl, she has silvery-white wolf ears and a fluffy white tail.

History[]

Background[]

Her YouTube channel was created on 24 September 2019. Her Twitter account was created in September 2019.

On 14 October 2019, she did her first pre-debut test stream on YouTube using a static model.[2][3] On 24 October, she did another pre-debut test stream.[4][5]

2019[]

On 25 October, Satsuki debuted as a VTuber. She considers this to be her official debut date.

2020[]

On 15 June, Satsuki's YouTube channel reached 1,000 subscribers.[6]

2021[]

On 30 August, Satsuki re-debuted as a member of ZERO Project's 3rd Generation.[7]

On 25 October, she celebrated her 2nd Anniversary, where she also announced the opening of her YouTube membership.[8]

2022[]

On 15 April, Satsuki celebrated her 19th birthday.[9]

In November, she officially formed the indie VTuber unit "Jammies" (じゃみぃず), together with Nekomu Yua.

On 30 November, ZERO Project officially disbanded. Satsuki held her agency graduation stream and returned to being an independent VTuber.[10] On the same day, she also uploaded her Asakusa Vlog with Ruif Infy to her channel.[11][Note 2]

2023[]

Retirement[]

On 10 April, Nekomu Yua announced that Satsuki was going on hiatus due to poor health.[12]

On 28 April, Jammies announced their duo's disbanding on 30 April as a result of Satsuki's indefinite hiatus and her planned deletion of accounts.[13][Note 3]

On 1 August, Re:fAce Music Production announced Satsuki's departure from the group.[14]
